About
100 years ago, there was a Goddess who was trapped in a white wolf's body with thirteen different powers who traveled all through Nippon to spread happiness and vanquish the dark and mysterious 8-headed serpent Orochi. The Goddess waited 'til the Chosen One, Nagi was born, for only he could vanquish Orochi. When Nagi was born, the Goddess waited patiently for Nagi. And when the Time was right, Nagi went to fight.
He crossed over to the Dark Moon Cave and stood foward and faced the fearsome beast. He averted his thoughts and slashed continously through the Darkness. But for naught, the was not a scratch on the beast. His arms were battered and he was tired. Orochi swerved what was to be the final blow when the Goddess appeared to Nagi's Aid. Her snowy white coat illuminated the cave. She blew away Orochi's Cursed fire with divine wind, and stopped his attacks with trees which miraculously sprouted.
But Alas, she grew tired and crimson blood blossomed from her wounds. Orochi readied itself for the killing blow, when suddenly the wolf howled, and the Cresent appeared overhead. Nagi's Blade accumilated the moon's power and slashed Orochi with his sword. The Beast was felled, but the Goddess was dying. He carried Her to Kamiki. The Elder cradled her wolf form. She Barked feebly and slipped into death as thought it were slumber. The Villagers built a shrine to honor Her, but they never knew who She actually was.
