They won't let you leave? That makes sense. Like, if they need you for something or what not - I am sure working at a casino can get pretty intense! I have actually never had cordial, what is that?? : )

Oooooooh yeah, you got the videos treatment. Icky - and sad. cry When I was in classes for my drivers permit, each day we had to watch like three videos on victims and what not. Each day was a different theme; like, trains one day, drunk driving another, freeway, etc. It was so sad.. and it got pretty gruesome. It really does make you realize what could and would happen though. As awful as they are, they are helpful. My teacher sat down next to me in middle of one where this person's head was cut off - he was drunk driving - and my teacher asked me a question WHILE EATING A HOT DOG. It was so gross. I felt scarred for life, ha stare

Yep, drivers won't look out for them. It's even worse in big cities, I hate it. I am glad you are defensive and have it down though! : )

There was a magpie here!! He/she was standing there eating something, then walked in a circle, looked and me and flew off. It was adorable!!!! : ) 3nodding Maybe it is a sign aha! surprised

Oh well how cool your work does that! How come they do all that stuff for free?? That is just so cool! Haha I am the same way, tea does not have enough of a boost ninja That does sound quite delicious though! That is essentially a latte with the soy - have you ever made latte art with your milk? It's pretty fun! I recommend trying it haha : D How long are your shifts at work?
And we actually have this adorable little tea/spice/candy/nic-nac shop over near the mall where they have loose teas and powdered teas. So I could get it, but I appreciate the offer. whee

Wow that sounds very in-depth for the license! That actually makes me happy though, people sometimes think riding a motorcycle is something you can just do with the snap of a finger, but there's a lot more that goes along with it. So it's nice to see those kinds of requirements! How long did it take you in total to get the full license? : ) Oooh how very cool, sounds like you're a badass to me! cool

OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST MENTIONED A MAGPIE!!!!!! : ) That is so weird!!!!!!! I just got home from Starbucks, and I was driving and there was this bird in the road that had a white body and the rest was black. I've never seen anything like it - I was about to go get my little insect and bird guide cause I thought it was pretty. So I was just reading your comment and you mentioned being attacked by a magpie, I just looked that up (cause I didn't know what a magpie looked like until now) and that was the bird I saw! It was a magpie!! Hahah that is so ironic!! xp

Oh okay that makes sense bahaha! Oh that drink sounds very interesting, though! One of those things that sounds so odd but I bet it is very delicious! I'll have to try it sometime. My manager and I like to create all kinds of crazy drinks in our down time - some of them quite revolting, some not - so I will have to talk her into that one! : ) Did you come up with that drink?? : )

Wow, wearing a helmet is the law there?? I think that's really good though! Kind of like the law of wearing your seat belt - I think that's cool you guys have a law for wearing a helmet! ...You go 60 miles an hour??!!! eek

Swans are mean?! I knew seagulls were - they are cool to look at over the ocean but boy are they obnoxious. But, swans? A symbol of grace and love is mean.. that is cool but sad ahahah! Have you ever been attacked by one??! confused

That is a bit backwards - but I bet it is cool to be able to say that it is 98 in December hahah! cool So then that means no snowman for you eh? ) : It's good you're used to it though! smile San Diego kind of has something like that - they have a "June gloom" as they call it. When I went there in 2013 was when I found out, and I was NOT expecting it to be absolutely freezing! lol

And... what is a soykaf? sweatdrop I have honestly never heard of that before. I know what crema is haha, my Starbucks has the best in town wink but not soykaf. Does it have something to do with soy milk?? : ) And you do have a Grand Junction?? Well, technically that is the same thing as ours. I think... I am still waking up right now so pardon me if I don't make sense haha. Anyway, we are named Grand Junction because of the two rivers that meet... It's over behind the bridge by the jail. Haha best description I can give you without throwing out a bunch of streets and what not. Anyway, my Grandpa takes me to the 'Grand Junction' sometimes and it is pretty interesting to see the two rivers go together. So, we aren't that much cooler than you haha! : ) Yours sounds really gorgeous though!! And much bigger! Oh my goodness I am glad you are okay! Very good thing you wore a helmet : ) Did anyone else get hurt from that?!!
Those birds are so obnoxious. My mom got attacked by one - she looked like she had just been hit by lightning. She smacked it and she didn't get hurt - so now it is funny haha - but they don't hold back!! I love those seals and sea lions so much. (Reason why I have got to SeaWorld consecutively this past three years now... sweatdrop ) I named one of them Screamer - he doesn't even bark he just sits there and screams at everyone! Have you seen him? He is so adorable and hilarious!! Haha!
Oh my gosh haha! Even though you literally just said it is hot, I got cold just thinking about that! Brrr! That sounds nice though... not the lightening because, well, danger haha. But, stormy weather is the best! (Unless of course, you are trying to venture off to the great world of seals and sea lions.) Is it going to get.. 'wintery' - for lack of better words - at all? : )

You've been to Grand Junction?! That's where I live! And where I am from - my whole life. Oh my goodness! It's so strange to me that very few people have heard of Grand Junction! Like, I will talk to people in classes and they will say that the only way they've heard of it is because of the university... it's small in relation to say, Denver, but not that small. (In my opinion, hahahah.)
It is a bummer we don't have a beach nearby, but there is this place - I totally forgot where it is, my Dad showed me years ago - and it is a man-made, artificial beach. Really, the only thing that makes it look like a beach is the way they did the sand and what not hahah, but, it is still pretty cool.
And yessss, they are filled with it! Haha, the Starbucks I work at is in a Safeway, and it is really funny when we get chips in because some of them will be really puffed up anyway. I find it hilarious that your chips popped bahahah! I love when that happens. That is why, here, when you are on a road trip, always eat the chips first!! rofl

Seals/sea lions really are puppies of the sea! Woo! whee Whenever many dog breeds put their ears back and get the big puppy eyes, they kind of look like a seal with legs. So. CUTE. Haha, but yes they are pretty feisty. When I was 10, my parents took me to SeaWorld in San Diego for my birthday. I had been there once when I was 2 but I didn't remember it, so, I considered it my first 'encounter' with seals and sea lions. So, I may or may not have reached my hand in the tank pretty far down when feeding them.... and I may or may not have almost been bit.. eek But I would love to go to a beach or something to really see them up close and personal - while being careful haha. : )

Aww I'm sorry it started storming! Maybe tomorrow will be better anyway! : ) Plus, I bet it made you a bit more excited having to wait another day, yes? : ) Is it snowing and/or getting cold at all where you are? : )

Oh my goodness well be careful! I think it's super cool you ride a motorcycle! cool I can just see you like, leaning against your motorcycle on the beach like a cool-kid... watching the seals. If you get one to pay attention, send it to Colorado hahah! (Just kidding, again. Seals, mountains and dessert don't exactly mix hah. And it might bite you so yeah, don't listen to me haha.) But I really do hope you see great things and have fun! : )

Well I am very very glad I could help hahah! What do you do, work, if you don't mind me asking? : ) And I got my license when I was 16, so one month away from that being four years ago! It did suck just a bit. However, ever since I was like 5 years old, all I have ever wanted was a slug bug. (You are talking to a reigning slug bug no slug back champion, I might add wink - except my parents and I didn't 'slug' each other, it was based on who saw it first and we got a certain amount of points depending on the year and make.) So, at the time, I was so so so happy that I was getting my dream car, so that was really special. I wasn't really paying attention to anything else. And it has really low miles - we bought it when I turned 14 and right now I am only at 76,000 miles. And I drive A LOT. Honestly though, I think I am going to get a new car here in the next year. This time, I am getting it myself : ) I love my bug to death - but I think it's time for something new. I don't know if I am a car person or not. I love them.. but I don't know too much about them hah. sweatdrop
I know right?! Way better. I love my seals heart And I doubt you have met anyone who loves them as much as me... I have quite the collection. 4laugh My ultimate goal is to swim with one or something. Like those videos - that I am totally jealous of - where a surfer or someone on a boat is just sitting there and then a seal or sea lion just jumps up with them. SO. CUTE.

That is very cool! But hey... seals and penguins out weight the sand fleas lol (kidding: please don't go get eaten by sand fleas!) When do you think you'd be able to go do that? Sounds amazing!!!

I do think he is underrated as well. I think what happens to is someone will hear a song and not understand it, and so they will just think he sucks. Which he doesn't, you actually have to listen to him.

Nope, neither one unfortunately! : ( When I got the car, it was actually two years before I got my license - my parents actually wanted it too, which is partly why we got it so early. (Que glare when thinking back to how they wanted my car in the parking lot of a baseball game instead of theirs just in case a ball went out of the park... stare ) Also, because at the time, there were only like, 5 VW's in town - 2 of them bugs. (Now they are almost done building a VW dealership hahah.) Anyway, when we got it, my Dad did all of the talking and driving and what not - so I was just kind of there. And of course, since I was in the midst of getting my dream car, I didn't really care (or know about, to be honest lol ) any of the little details (i.e. bluetooth or aux) like I do now. It was (and still is) a super great car, so we got it. When I had my permit and my parents were always in the car, they had control over the radio hahah, so I didn't really look at it until I got my license and looked and found out I didn't have an aux cord. But, the previous owner - like a derp - tried installing sirus XM and totally failed... so now I have a stuffed seal glued over that ugly hole in my dash.

And Eminem is great! I do like him. And I totally agree! Like, most rappers will have one or two songs about hardship and then the rest will be about bling and getting insides girls' no-no squares. It's like they don't even appreciate what they have and how they got there, you know? I am a bit of a stickler on the whole idea of knowing where you came from, I think it's really important. Which is why it is so obnoxious hearing rap songs about how much bling bling they have or whatever. stressed

Finally someone understands my reasoning. : ) It really is nice to have something a different and it can help! smile It's partly why I am still really bummed that my bug doesn't have a place for me to plug in my iPod or phone - so I am kind of forced to listen to the radio when I'm driving. stare Oh that makes sense with the beats! Sometimes I feel the same way unless the song has crazy unique or beautiful vocals - or the lyrics deeply mean something to me. : ) So then under what circumstances would you prefer a song with vocals? 3nodding

I live about 45 minutes south of Milwaukee, pretty good sized town, I suppose. I can't wait to be done with school to move to the city though, new opportunities, more people, different experiences. Cannot wait. And I totally hear ya about the beat up car, I have a teeny little Grand Am and she slides all over the road like its her job in the winter.

That's okay, I don't want to pry. I've been scared of snakes for as long as I can remember. I went to Friendsgiving the other day and the host had a little Red Tailed Boa and I stayed as far away from it as possible. I actually just woke up from a dream where someone was chasing me with a snake and I was screaming, haha. Weird. I have no doubts snakes can be nice, but I'll admire from a distance for now. whee
