My favorite Animes are: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Inuyasha Mermaid Forest, Windaria, and the Rumic World OVA's, Saint Tail, and Romeo X Juliet.
I'm interested in Inuyasha the Final Act and have just started watching it.

Mermaid Forest

I haven't found much information on "Mermaid Forest", so that's why I wrote this, though, I highly doubt anyone will read this, so I'm pretty much just entertaining myself.
It was published in Japan as "Ningyo no Mori" in 1988 by Rumiko Takahashi, and first animated in 1991. That Particular anime was split in two, so there is "Mermaid's Forest" and in 1993 "Mermaid's Scar". In 2003 it was made into another anime, part of "Rumic Theater", various short stories that Takahashi wrote in the '80s made into 13 episode long series. Only 11 episodes were shown on Japanese television, the last 2, "Mermaid's Scar" were too violent and were released straight to video.

The story is about the legend of the Mermaid, that whomever consumes its flesh will gain immortality. Yuta ate the flesh 500 years befor the manga/anime begins. He is on a search for a mermaid, in order to regain his humanity and live a normal life. He rescues a 15 year old girl named Mana who also ate the flesh, and together they search for a mermaid.
