Hey, I need your opinion. Which story should I submit for an Urban Legend?



It happened at a soiree in the prince’s castle one night. Everyone was dancing and having the time of their lives. A woman stepped out of the dark hallways and headed for the ballroom.

The prince saw the woman walk inside as he sat on the staircase. What he saw amazed him. Fair skin and long blonde locks in a shining white satin dress. He walked over to the woman, craving to engage her.

He grabbed her shoulders and she turned her around. She was wearing a white mask that covered her face. He ignored it and asked for her name. The woman said “Lyca”. The prince was spellbound after hearing the choir of seraphim. He stuttered as he said “E…Eric…La…Lamont”.

Eric Lamont reached for her mask, but the woman quickly turned away. She ran back into the dark halls. Eric tried to catch her, but she was too fast.

Days passed, and the prince found no trace of her. He grew anxious and mad. As he thought about her the second day, he noticed a group of guards overlooking a well. Eric ran over to the group, curious of what happened. In his haste, he noticed a white mask in his tracks. Worried, he ran faster towards the well.

The guards explained that there was an accident, involving a woman falling. Eric was surprised and he looked down the well. He saw Lyca and stared at her face. Eric was scared and terrified after seeing her hideous face. It consisted of red boils and scars.

The prince had a sour look on his face and ran away into the woods.



Now in the common days, people can see the well. The woman isn’t there anymore, but weird things happen near the well at nights. A glowing woman has been spotted crying, saying “I’m hideous, I don’t deserve to live”.

Jake was happy going on his first date with Jennifer. Jake got her roses as she picked her up at her house. They were going to go see a movie downtown. Jake helped Jennifer get on his motorcycle. Jake started his way down the road, excited. As they were on the freeway, Jake asked Jennifer to hug him tight. Jennifer followed his request.

Jake then asked Jennifer to tell him that she loves him. Jennifer said "I love you" as she blushed. Jennifer was confused, but she suddenly noticed the motorcycle was going faster. Jennifer asked him to slow down, but Jake said that it was fun.

Jake told her to take his helmet and put it on. She followed what she said again.



The next morning, the newspaper held horrid news. On the front page, it said that a couple on a motorcycle fell of a bridge. They fell 100 feet and crashed on hard ground. Only one girl survived, the boy died.



It turns out that Jake knew that the motorcycle's brakes gave out during their ride on the freeway. He wanted Jennifer to embrace him and to know that she loves him one last time. Jake also knew that the helmet would save her, so he had her put it on.



Once every dark night, you could see a couple walking on the bridge. They are holding hands, not caring about anything around them.
