The story of the GCD Drow:After many years, the surface elves have changed. They have become diminutive little creatures that exist only to make toys. The drow, upon discovering this, are outraged. Such pathetic creatures managed to defeat them, curse them, and banish them to live beneath the earth? Upon discovering how weak they have become, the drow have chosen that now is the time to take back the surface lands. They had thought that the surface elves would protect the humans, and weren't overly enthusiastic about attacking them without divine intervention. But now, their ancient enemies are weak, and the humans are very greedy, and easily bought. Lolth appeared to the high priestesses in every drow city, telling them to strike now, with her full support. However, the drow are apprehensive about Santa. How did he get the surface elves working for him? Did he transform them to their present state? Were they enslaved? Is there some sort of mind control going on? If Santa controls t he surface elves, might he seek to control the drow as well? Not wanting to take any chances, the first true target of the drow conquest is Santa. But before that can happen, smaller steps must be taken. Gaia has changed over the millenia. These changes must be observed and understood before the drow can rule this changed world. Their first real move will be to capture a surface and try to figure why they serve Santa.
