Alright this thing has been so long overdue...I guess I should start with my name which is Jared, Flynn being my last name. I'm not the best person in the world and I'll never claim to be. At heart I'm many things, it just takes a while for people to pick out all of my characteristics. But for the most part at this point in life I'd like to view myself as much of a slacker, a procrastinator, someone who just wants to relax and enjoy life instead of having to deal with sports, school, work, and all the drama that happens to go on in the average day for a teenager.
Next order of business, I'm 16 (17 in November), and live in Colorado. It's a pretty nice state, just beware the weird weather (ie. It'll rain, snow, and be sunny all in one day or even within the matter of a few hours). Anyways I'm in a "rigorous" program called IB, something that doesn't pair well with my procrastination. Regardless I'm determined to get my way through it even if it kills me O_O and trust me I've had my fair share of sleepless nights working on whatever. Haha but that's my fault. Anyways it kills to be smart and yet be a slacker, so I'm working on that terrible habit.
I have many interests, likes, dislikes, and activities. My activities are, Diving, Swimming, Soccer, Tennis, and wrestling, as well as some other clubs where community service is a must but it's not that bad. I like food... in general and I eat... A LOT, but I'm not fat or anything haha. I love to read and try to read as much as I possibly can, so if oyu have any book reccommendations feel free to send them this way. I like being active, I like videogames, I like computers (except macs, please don't flame me >.<), I like attempting to draw, I like my psychology class, I like watching movies (again if you have any reccomendations send them this way), I like music (all kinds of music, I'm not too picky about it),I like sleeping, I like being up late at night, I like many many things, so much that this list could go on for quite a while so I'll stop the like list here. I HATE cheese with a passion ( again don't flame me please). I dislike the stress that is put on teenagers in this day and age, I hate people who think they are above everyone else, I dislike people who don't listen or try to include everyone, I dislike the kids who you become friends with and then they end up stalking you EVERYWHERE, I dislike who I am as a person ( I believe that as a whole I can be a better person than I am and I wish to become that person I view myself as), I dislike manipulative people, I dislike those teachers that happen to have a grudge with you for some unknown reason, I dislike pressure, I dislike... well WAY more stuff, I just can't think of what else to put haha. Interests: Alrighty so I'm interested in Digital art, being some sort of surgeon or doctor, having an adventurous life, traveling,becoming friends with people, videogames, paintballing, helping people with their lives, putting forth crative ideas, etc.
Just saying but, SCOTT PILGRIM IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS EVER!!!!!!!!!!
anyways... when I'm slacking I spend my time reading comments, playing games, talking things up on Facebook (greatest time waster the world, therefore worst invention ever razz ) Now if you're wodering what comics I read: xkcd, harkavagrant, and sluggy freelance are the big ones. As for game I've recently stumbled upon a game called spelunky (really cool game, even though you die often) so feel free to look it up biggrin , and yeah the rest of my time when procratinating is spent well browsing the web looking for intrigueing stuff, usually through stumbleupon, or watching/browsing through videos, or on FB, though I'd like to start spending more time on here so I can again have an outlet for my creative writing.
Anyways a little something about my history on here or a suppose a terrible habit, I have the bad habit of getting on this thing for months going with Threads and stuff and then suddenly I vanish, meanign that I leave Gaia alone for a while, however I want to try to fix that a get going with this thing again and make it so that habit doesn't happen again.
Also those of you living in Ireland, you are lucky as hell. I'd like to visit there someday and get in touch with my heritage...

yeah college..... i leave in like a month sad i guess i'm excited for it but right now i'm kinda depressed bc a lot of my best friends have been/are leaving this week sad sad
oh my summer has been fun, I'm in Nashville visiting fam and next weekend I fly up to norcal for college orientation.
