Lady


the fur on her back glistens in the early sunlight,
Her tail sways in the wind,
a sly smile crosses her lips,
her eyes dance in my thoughts,
her smile widens,
i look down at her and smile,
she tilts her head,
i look her in the eye,
silence crosses over both of us,
time standing still,
my eyes glance to the ground and back up,
she notices,
and barks,
i laugh and we bark at one another,
her smile returns to her face, bigger than ever,
i cant help it,
i see the ball she has placed under my feet,
her goofy grin spreads,
i pick up the ball and tease her,
she paces with my movments,
i pull the hair from my lips and the wind takes the rest,
i toss the ball behind me,
she tumbles over me and i hit the ground,
she stops and looks back confused,
i smile and pull her down next to me,
we play on the frosted ground,
she licks my face,
i giggle,
she is the best thing thats ever happend to me,
and i dont even relies it,
she tugs on my shirt pulling me out of my thoughts,
i love her more than anyone could love her,
and i only wish she knew,
but to me i think she does,
i believe she knows me better than anyone else,
we dont just share friendship,
we share ,
feelings,
thoughts,
she is me and i am her,
together we could rule the world,
together we make peace with ourselves,
as the world stops,
and time stands still,
we listen,
listen to our hearts beat together.
