If I do, it'll have to be winter! I've lived in the frosty, frozen north for most of my life and it suits me just fine. I melt in hot weather and I'm quite content to have late October-April be the cold, dark, snowy half the year. At least down by you it's decently dry a lot of the time. Floridians just baffle me. Too muggy! The drought's been in the news a lot lately and no one seems to have a solution that any sort of majority is willing to back. To be fair, there is only so much you can do to control weather, but it's certainly not completely out of our hands. Oh, goodness you're adorable! Your hair is so fluffy, I bet people ask to touch it all the time. Alas, I'm very lazy when it comes to hair so I used to just keep it as short as I could, but my boyfriend just adores long hair so I humour him. When it's not in... use, I just braid it and keep it tucked under a hat. My coworkers didn't know I had long hair until a spill required me to remove the hat one day and they were convinced it was some kind of elaborate wig or joke.

That's especially frustrating then, I hope her coworkers/clients are understanding of the injury. I don't know much about the body myself, but I am a clumsy ******** with a lot of experience in injury. I imagine even if she's not a driver, public transportation with any sort of walking device, be it a cane, cast, or crutch, is also going to be a challenge.

Huh, what do the armour pieces even come from? I know I have a few, so they have to have been in something, granted by something, or were dumped in large numbers into dumpster dive around the time I was coming back from hiatus. I think once the hype dies down a bit, the prices will level out and become cheaper. Look at the verge boxes, those are 2.5T or less now and in plentiful supply. Or the Perfect Parcels, those went for as low as 8T recently (and I still haven't sold mine, fff should have bailed on it when the going was good.) Say, mini-goldens are the ones that pop up in cash shop and if they sell out, there is a recolour, yeah? I know it's a long, long way out but I hope yours makes it.

I'm sorry to hear she's got it rough. Leg injuries are the pits, they take forever to heal because there's just no avoiding walking on it at some point. Plus, I can say with experience no matter how confident you are in your upper body strength, crutches will make everything sore and then you end up with three limbs bruised and swollen rather than the one. Sometimes breaks are actually less severe than other injuries. If it's something like a ligament that's out and out snapped or a joint that's gone bust, a lot of those are unavoidably surgical fixes. While bones are nice, sturdy, solid things you can pin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and all that good gooey stuff is extremely hard to get to cooperate a lot of the time. And if it's the right leg, oof. That inability to drive yourself anywhere is just insult to injury. There's little else worse than losing your sense of agency on top of your health. I'd feel kind of weird sending my best wishes as we're not particularly close or anything, but let're know she's missed!

I do believe that the price for those fragments will drop a bit as they are released into more and more promos/RIGs/whathaveyous. I imagine though, that as other people get closer to completing theirs, the price for armour and other components will rise so it is wise that you've started on what you can now. Godspeed! Aw s**t, really? I had no idea you were out that way. When I was bumming around Tempe before I headed out proper I saw a guy with a mohawk and thought of you, I can't unsee it as your hairstyle now. Where abouts are ya anyhow?

Well, it's July 11th-19th so there's a good deal of time left and you'd have to have a hell of a work schedule to miss all nine days, but it happens. I actually specifically planned it to go a week + an extra weekend because I know the pain of week-on week-off shifts. We're not super duper counting on a kick starter and forum, but it'd be nice and we're damn well going to try. As for your attendance, I'm not entirely sure how you'd want to go about that. We're modelling it after an actual convention and those tend to have two things that are going to be very tricky for us: A dance/concert and a series of special guests. I seriously doubt we can rope actual staff into making NPCs show up and make merry, but the community isn't lacking for important folks with ties to NPCs. You are pretty much the closest thing to an NPC and you're in the band. As for what you'd be doing? That's an excellent question I've got no answer to. It's not like there's a function for a concert in the flash space, and I'm not entirely sure how an autograph session would work... I guess you could bring your charm for some kind of Q&A though you did that for the Paparazzi already. Hmm, well we've got time to think on it and I'm not going to be offended if you've got neither the time nor the inclination. Tch, I should get in touch with Slick because the Gaia Cashmir Alliance will be there and I wondered if Nyx shouldn't have an equal spot. I heard something about a leg injury though? I hope everything is okay.

Hmm, I see you're lacking the alchemised Death Whisper then? They aren't expensive or anything, but I do believe I have most of the ingredients for that one, though I sure as hell don't have 75 of all that armour. Want me to pass along what I've got? This'll come out to, more or less, 25-30Tish yeah?

Haha, I haven't heard that one in a while. I was out in the Sonoran desert. It was oddly cloudy when I was there as well, even rained one of the days.

Planning is... going. God bless this miraculous trio that have really thrown themselves into planning and art. Lord know I don't have anything in me but stick figures. Got the planning thread more or less setup to navigable, got the donation thread going, got the event mule made with prize inventory, now I just need to make a guild and poke someone on staff to see if we acn get a kick starter, or at least an event forum. It's still a long ways off though, so we've got a bit of time. I also need to start prodding people I know are NPC fans to host a panel, but I feel like I'm bothering them. I should actually probably ask you at some point if you want to be involved at all. We're looking for special guests and/or a dance or some kind of flash space event, and, well, you're in Gaia's only band with actual members. If you're not feelin' it, absolutely no worries.

Ah, I think our absences overlapped since I just got back from a pseudo-holiday. Glad to see you're back too! I thought of you as soon as I saw those things. If ever I get my hands on any pieces, I'll send'em your way. Odds aren't great, but never say never.

Super Sentai and the many other toku shows are pretty great, but Kamen Rider will always have a special place in my heart. Especially the older ridiculous ones. Amazon, hhnnnng. Though I will say some of the newer stuff has its perks. Momotaros merch has taken over a corner of my desk.

Not gonna lie, when I saw him I thought of you. Here's to hoping 'burly' coming in absolutely dead last on the survey doesn't kill off the already tiny trickle of similar items.

Gah, you're so sweet! <3 I have to say, I don't feel weird at all about contacting you. xD It's absolutely silly how nervous I was about it.

I loooove the hawks! I actually just snagged one of the recolors [the light one] today so I'm in the midst of scheming a new avatar. I am tempted, that if I get a ticket for anything, to just give it to you because you obviously have some wicked ideas and concepts. C: Yeah, must be so strange to buy one item and then you're broke. But kudos to you for having the focus to quest! I'm feeling so A.D.D. about it with the constant flow of new things, I'm sure if I kept up a wishlist, it'd be massive.

Honestly, there's a handful of items I could think to recolor, sadly my top picks are all evolving items. <_<; Like, a toxic version of Mephiste would be ridiculous [in my mind at least it is]. Maybe I should sit and play around with some items in paint or something to test if I'd be worthy of doing of a recolor. xD
Eh, the testing is so constant, it's awful. Like, a month without at least three doctors' visits, is a vacation, as sad as that is. It was supposed to slowly become less and less of a to-do, but they found something that they wanted follow-ups on. But I'm hoping for the best and in the meantime, no point in worrying about it.

Oh wow! That's roughly half the gold flushed out! That's amazing! I mean it's still a ton of gold in the system but it's great that a large chunk is gone. That's good you got to go to two panels. One of the last con I went to, I was only able to make one. I would have gotten into two if the staff didn't suck at running lines. >:0
I'm glad that you think it's heading in a good place. I've been pretty optimistic about Gaia's future since Blue was announced as the GM, but knowing you think that (especially after a panel) as well makes it easier to stay positive. surprised
