About me? What to tell...

Um, in general, I'm an obsessive artist. I draw characters which I tend to use in my own stupid little comics and stories. The majority of characters that I draw are normally described as "anorexic-looking". For the record, they're not, and I don't support anorexia, they just tend to look cooler to me that way. Most of them also have mohawks or some other punk-like hairstyle. I don't claim that they're punk, so don't go calling them posers or anything if you ever get to see them. I just draw what I like. ^^ Despite the fact that I'm no Van Gough, I'm still very proud of my guys. I guess I have a weird emotional attachment to them. XD I tend to do weird stuff in my drawings too, like draw sexy pictures of hideous characters just because it cancels itself out, or of straight guys in drag even though it doesn't really make any sense. 0_o Sorry if that offends you in some way...

Other than drawing, I also like to write. I've been writing on one story for over two years now...I keep changing things in it. >_< My writing ranges in poetry, short stories, and huge novels I tend to take too long on such as the previous statement. As for my genre, it's about the same as my drawings. Pretty much because the stories are about the characters that I draw. My writing can take one turn or the other; in other words, I'll either write something uber tragic, or very stupid and/or funny. No in between really. My poems are childish and Dr. Seuss sounding in nature, but are, however, comedic and dark. I'm weird like that. biggrin

I like films in general. I like watching them, I like making them. I haven't actually MADE a film yet, I'll admit, but have been plotting to for a very long time. Between the fact I can barely finish a story and the fact they contain factors that would need many special effects to pull off, my scripting isn't on my side. DX Hopefully I'll sort stuff out and complete my dream. Aside from making the film, I wouldn't mind acting in one either. I'm no Johnny Depp, but I think I can act pretty good. I'm better at silly things, though, like improvisation. ^^

As for the films I watch, I like uncommon movies. Stuff that's either really old, or very indie; hard to find stuff. I like musicals too, especially The Rocky Horror Picture Show. smile Animated films are a big thing with me too. Call me childish if you want, but I find cartoons magical. I think the whole concept of animation is amazing. It's like drawings coming to life! But enough whimsical jabbering...

I'm a voice actor enthusiast. Not much to say about it, but something that should be mentioned none the less. Danny Cooksey is my favourite voice actor, though I also enjoy the work of Charles Adler, Richard Horvitz, and Scott Menville. Another random enthusiastic thing I do is collect vintage and indie comics. My current favourites are Marvels "Not Brand ECHH" and "What The-?!" starring little-known wannabe super hero Forbush-man. He's about the only fan art I ever do. biggrin

I also need to mention I use emoticons too much. Sorry if that annoys anyone...

Oh! I'm also a horrible procrastinator. That should be all now.
