I have about $10000 in student loans out already from my previous failures, so... Better not ******** up this time, right? xD;;
It is a loooot of drama, but it will be worth it. We're making it by on our current wages, but our life could be much better than it is. We're getting there ^^

Tips are pretty sweet- I've never officially worked in a place that you can earn tips at, but I used to sit in the restaurant my mother worked in when I was like... 8. She would let me bring food out to her regular customers, who ate it up and left huge tips. She'd let me keep 'em too. ;D
Jake worked at a Burger King for a long time when he was younger... like over 8 years. They wanted to give him his own store at age 24 or some s**t... he turned 'em down, and got a factory job. He had that for a few years, and got laid off... so he got a job at McD's. He loathes it so much... it's just a matter of money when it comes to schooling. He has finally come to the realization that he /has/ to take out loans to go to school. He didn't want to, but it is the ONLY way.
That's pretty neat, actually. There are worse things that you could be doing, for sure. Plus, you know how to make sushi. /drool
He's been working at McD's for like... 2 and half years now? He's going to school this fall to get a welding certification so he can break out of the minimum wage bracket finally. FINALLY.
Then I will actually go back and get a degree in Radiation Technology. We're clawing our way out of mediocrity (slowly).
... See, now last I remember you were working at a McDonald's. I'm relatively sure that fish-smells are NOT a thing at McD's, as my husband currently works at one.
