Hi there, my name is Kerry. I also go by Davia, as it's my pen-name. I love to read and I write all sorts of things like poetry, fan-fiction, original fiction, short stories, novel-length stories, essays, etc. I also love photography, psychology, music, movies, and of course the internet.

I'm a 25 year old Florida girl, currently attending college for computer programming and working part-time as a Cashier at Home Depot.

I was recently dumped (7/22/13) by my girlfriend/fiance of 10 years, hence the username. My main account is Lady Davia.

I tend to be a dark person, and I love dark things (dark themes in movies, tv shows, and books, and in my own writing). Also, I've been through a lot and I like to do what I can to help people. If anyone wants advice I'm always happy to give it. I am a logical thinker, and I am a good listener who has a knack for seeing things from many different points of view.

I am soft-spoken and quiet, but that in no way means I am weak. "Speak softly and carry a big stick" is a phrase to live by. I am very friendly, when I'm not too busy being shy, and fiercely loyal to my true friends (of which I currently have 2). My other nature is wind, if that matters at all.

I used to have moments where I could be spontaneous and crazy, but only around people I know well. we had much fun. Now I am mostly calm, quiet, and shy. I'm the calm at the center of the storm that rages on in my mind, heart and soul. I try to ignore my inner darkness/depression, but sometimes it bleeds through anyways. Especially now.

I sometimes have many typos because my mind goes faster than either my mouth or my fingers (I garble my speech when I talk once in awhile too, lol).

Also, "Anam Cara" is a Gaelic term meaning "Soul Friend". I believe that there are friends who are the equivalent of a soul-mate, only in a non-romantic way, and I believe Anam Cara describes that perfectly. So if I call you that consider yourself lucky, for it is the highest honor I can give, and I do not bestow it lightly.
