About
I am me. Those of you who know me well know that.
For those who don't:
I am idiosyncratic, somewhat sarcastic, always openminded, ready to debate, willing to listen, able to be a supporting shoulder and sympathetic ear. I am a woman who admires beauty--true beauty, not the s**t they push on you in the fashion magazines-- and see it in every person. I am a lover, and a warrior, carrying scars from both willingly and gratefully, as they are signs that I have survived and gotten stronger. I am far from perfect, but I accept it. I am a scholar and a healer, with a thirst for knowledge and disdain for ignorance and waste. I am a poet writing life's poetry, unapologetically but with feeling. I am passionate and unashamed of showing it. I am the fire and the embers, warming and sometimes caustic, but at the same time sacred in my own way. I confess myself only to my Goddess, and see no shame in it. I am proud of who and what I am, and what it took for me to get there. I am a child stuck in a woman's body, an old woman stuck in the heart of a child, and a cat stuck in the mind of a human, confused by it all.
Who am I, then?
I am a lioness secure with her mate, a woman ready to challenge perceptions but not push envelopes, but beyond all that...
I am simply me. No more. No less.

Ramblings of a Wand'ring Mind
I'm more likely to keep my livejournal updated, but from time to time, I'll pop over here with my musings.

That light we see is burning in my hall.
How far that little candle throws his beams!
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.
