If you go to your inventory when you click on your avatar at the top of your screen, all the items should appear. Click whatever you want to, and on the next screen where it's a close up of the item and the description, click "Give as Gift" (or something similar), click the package you want to send, the name from the list (or type it out), your password, confirm, and voila! That's gift giving at least.

For trades, on your tradee's profile under "contact" (if they have that box), it should say something for trade. Otherwise there's a little arrow swap icon next to their name on your "Friends" page.

I hope that makes sense. Seriously, though. You don't have to.
