First of all, remember that there is never a time when you shouldn't use manners. Manners are forever!

Always do these things: 1) Hold the door open if someone is walking into a building or room after you 2) Say 'please' and 'thank you' when appropriate 3) Take off your hat when you're inside. 4) Don't use rude language in front of ladies. 5) Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze 6) Keep your mouth closed when you burp 7) Give someone else the chance to go first if food is being served.

*The trick to using chivalry is always thinking of the needs and wants of others, and putting them before your own if you can.

Remember, when you observe chivalry others will often feel inspired to do the same! smile
