Elora the Faun made her first appearance in Spyro: Ripto's Rage! in 1999. She was a main character in the game, and very important to your journey. Her main purpose as far as the story line was concerned, seemed to be to keep everyone on the same page. Game-play wise, she often helped you through tough tasks and gave you clues to what you were supposed to be doing. While she made a small appearance in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, we haven't seen much of her since.

Elora is a strong willed faun who makes her home in Avalar, most likely coming from Fracture Hills where other fauns like her can be found.

A week before the game starts, she is in Winter Tundra with the Professor and Hunter, and when Ripto comes through the portal and claims to be the new king of Avalar, she commands Zoe and her fairy friends to take the orbs and scatter them around Avalar.
In the beginning of Ripto's Rage, Elora is with both the Professor and Hunter trying to find a dragon to defeat Ripto, after Spyro appears she volunteers to help him. Elora helps Spyro by giving him advice on Talismans and Orbs, and also giving him the Guidebook to store his Talismans in. She was the one who opened the castle to beat Ripto after Spyro collected the 40 orbs.
