The Man, The God, The Nightmare ~ !
So about me....I'm a 6'5" harry guy who loves black, metal and leather in his fashion. I'm a Discordian, among other things, who's beliefs deify sex and sexuality. In fact, that's what keeps me just this side of boring behavior: I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't *smoke*, if you catch my meaning. But I *love* sex. It's is a glorious, glorious thing.
And before you ask, no, I'm not straight edge. I don't understand straight-edgers. They are, too me, silly, but they seem to enjoy what they do. Good on 'em.
I'm polyamorous rather than monogamous, which means I prefer to carry on more than one meaningful relationship at once. I'm sure that immediately lands me the title of shallow guy, but this is not so. I care very much about my girls, and I'd never lie to them about what my intentions were.
I'm also a member of the BDSM scene, which encompasses more than just people hurting people. I, in fact, am not as big on the SM aspect of it as I am the Bondage/Domination aspect of it. I am a Dom, meaning (for those of you who don't know) that I am big on control and ownership. Someday, while I'd not surrender my polyamory for (in fact I think it would make it more fun), I'd love a pet. Optimally someone who's open to non-monogamy and is bi (female, obviously).
In the past year, I've found myself a lovely primary/pet in Shirabelle, and am now more concerned with finding playmates for us as a couple. While my poly nature remains, I'd rather play with my pet beside me.
Now, I'm also a furry. I know, "-GASP!- UNCLEAN! YIFF IN HELL FURFAG!!!". I've head it already. But the fact of the matter is, if you're saying that you're operating under false pretexts.
First, not all of us are fursuiters (we don't dress up like our character). In fact a good number of us don't.
Second, the vast majority of us *don't* have fursuit sex. That and other strange sexual interests (babyfur, vore, etc.) have landed participants the title "Furverts", and they kinda creep *us* out too. Don't get me wrong, it's their thing, and good for them for being proud of it. But they aren't a fair representation of the entire furry fandom.
Third, no, we aren't hot for animals. Those are zoophiles and beastialists. Granted we have those in the fandom, but you normal folk have'em floating around too.
Lastly, yes, a large percentage of the fandom is gay or bi. But there are those of us, maybe about 35-40%, that are indeed plenty straight. We just get together and have a good time like the rest of y'all.
