A Reason Why I Love K-pop
Every idol has earned their right to be where they are today. They practiced like crazy, were driven, and still managed to maintain their grades in school all without cracking under pressure. I mean, sure I shouldn’t say they haven’t cracked at least one but if they did, I doubt they’d be where they are today; well, I’m just trying to say they never gave up. And they did all this BEFORE even joining a company. Imagine the amount of pressure afterwards and yet, they still manage to smile no matter how exhausted, performance on ‘X’ amount of music shows, star on variety shows or in dramas just for us-their fans.
Then you look at celebrities here and shows here and wonder, “How is this better than my oppa/unnie/noona/ hyung etc. ?” You’re famous for being pregnant at such a young age? And any bad-to-worse decisions you make end up in magazines I see while waiting in line at the grocery stores. Sometimes they’re famous for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; just the mere fact that they’re related to someone famous or know someone famous is enough. Don’t get me wrong, there are others who have worked their butt off but I feel like they forgot who they are or just don’t receive enough recognition.
~Then the Classics and Legends will remain just that, and I will always love them…alongside K-pop idols.~
