My name is Draco Malfoy. I was a pure-blood wizard and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. The son of a Death Eater, I was raised to believe strongly in the importance of blood purity. I attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Slytherin house. During my years at Hogwarts, I became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson and other fellow Slytherins, while I was the enemy of Harry Potter. I was made a Prefect for my house and was a member of the Inquisitorial Squad during my fifth year, at the end of which my father was imprisoned in Azkaban following the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.
