Life's interesting right now. I'm in college, majoring in music. Tuba performance, specifically, but don't let that scare you off. I love playing piano, and singing as well. I sing bass with a fantastic men's chorus, play tuba with my college's Symphonic Wind Ensemble, I play bass trombone in an old-fashioned swing big band, and I play piano just for kicks, though I wish I could turn it into a career.

I also write music, but that's another story entirely.

Some people say I'm pretty smart. I just say that I like to learn. I love to learn, honestly. I love to get a deeper understanding of the world that surrounds me.

I am not a big fan of organized religion. If you don't like it, go to hell. (See, that was meant to be funny, I'd never actually tell anyone to go to hell.)

Apparently I also have a pretty nice sense of humor? I just like making people laugh. I can be extremely closed-minded and pigheaded at times, but I always will listen to an argument, as long as I have time to. It gets me in loads of trouble sometimes, but hey, "Who I am" doesn't exactly only cover the nice things.

Anyhow, that's me. I'm a nut, in a nutshell. (Another one o' them jokes.)

My life story so far?

I think this'll be my only entry, but I reunited with an old friend after missing middle school and high school with her... and that's what I had to say. That's how I defined my life to her. In as few words as possible. I see... Music, AP's, women..

Sorry about the craziness. Why are you in that many ensembles? Just because you can? Good enough reason. That's impressive though. I have finals week so I kind of hate my life right now. However I'm surprisingly calm... and if that doesn't stay that way the cyanide pills in my bedside table should help. But yeah, life's good now. Switching majors and schools. Lots of changes, yay! Spent the first half of this semester in a clinical depression so deep I could barely shower, but now life is better than ever... funny how that works. So as soon as finals are over I shouldn't have anything to complain about. But you know me, I will find something smile

Also, this is hard for me to admit, but I kind of miss you. There's this guy at my school who looks a lot like that picture you sent me of yourself and... well... he makes me think of you. I wish I had something more clever to say about that. Anyway, hope everything is going well with music and ladies and such. Don't die. That's all.
