Dieudonna was born to a well-to-do middle-class family in Midgar. Her father, Dieudonne held a fine position with ShinRa company translating and coding documents. It wasn't the top position a gentleman could boast, but it did pay the bills on time. The Ada name didn't carry clout into any parties, however it was a useful name to the Shinra business. Emma Rosamund, on the other hand, was a little better known. Her father, Royce, owned a successful flower chain which specialised in engineering new varieties of roses. Miss Emma was never seen without a fresh rose pinned somehwere on her person. Perhaps it was the rose or the beauty's stunning blue eyes which had attracted Dieudonne. When Dieudonne was sent by a higher-up to pick up a floral arangement for a staff birthday gift, the pair of lovers met. After a rather long and shy courtship of five years, the pair was married. Years passed and the Ada family was without child; Emma had never been a healthy woman. Half a dozen years later, a girl was born to the family. Out of adoration for her husband, Emma named the child after her father and thereafter was diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Watching Emma suffer, the young girl desperately sought to soothe her father. Desperate to prove herself, Dieudonna set her mind to her studies and quickly found her place in the academic world. Rather than studying the science and art of flowers, the young beauty dove headfirst into her father's more... /dull/ carreer. Tragedy soon struck the Ada family, and Emma returned to the lifestream. Her dying wish was that her highschool friend: Mameko, be helped. Dieudonne was happy to comply and wound up taking in the late Mameko's child who was only three years Dieudonne's junior. The adopted girl's name was Kurumi Mori and in Kurumi, Dieudonna found comfort. Graduating with honors at thirteen, Dieudonna moved on to her internship with a small independant translation company. It was around that time that Dieudonna herself fell ill with mysterious fever and myalgia. She was soon thereafter diagnosed with a condition known as Lupus.
The young ward, Kurumi, soon found out that her mother had died under suspiscious circumstances. Trouble was on the horison, for an independant terrorist agency was seeking out the Ada's ward. Before Mameko had died, she had made a code to lock out an organization known as the Moaru from a database. The code, as it stands, involved extracting miss Mori's DNA. Trapped in the Chaos, the Ada family soon became the victims of these terrorists. Desperate for help, Dieudonna sought a different employer hoping to earn the right for her family's protection under Shinra company. Would the young miss find employment? More importantly: would she find protection before it was too late?
(Please be nice. Dieudonna's name is pronounced: DE YU DO na (Japonese phonetics biggrin i-yu-Don-na). Feel free to call her Donna, Duo, or Di. Please do not call her Udon.)
