Well.....I'd go through maybe the evolving items, see what each has that would fit into your theme. Also don't be afraid to experiment with the dream avatar maker, you can come up with some pretty neat ideas there.

On my avatar, it's kind of like I'm wearing an elaborate headdress, since there's not a whole lot on elsewhere lol. Yea I tried standing and sitting on my entry, I just thought the sitting would work better with the water, make it look more like she was actually in the ocean. If I had thought about it sooner, I would have added the blue fog from the carol evolving item, to hide the end of the trident and to make it look a little more like she's floating on the water.



I'm not too fond of the description area either. Granted, if people want to place something there to explain something about their avatar, that's fine, but I don't think people should be basing this contest by a description. I mean, it's an AVATAR contest, not a writing contest. If they want to judge writing, go to the proper section for that lol.

There's no reason to be embarrassed, it was a nice entry! It's hard to determine what is considered too much on an avatar, and what is too little. I might have considered submitting this avatar I have now, but I had already submitted the other, and my current look might be considered overkill lol. I mean, I think if I put one more item on or near my head, I'm going to fall over lol.
