I have what seems to be a neverending annual housing inspection for Section 8. Would much rather be able to work and just pay out-of-pocket, but, oh well. Gaia keeps me cheerful. Mostly. I finally turned in fluff #3, but my frustration level was very high for this event.

Yeah, when I first joined about 3 years ago I regularly saw numbers in the mid-20s. zOMG was packed and Booty Grab games filled up. I imagine the severe nerfings and lack of maintenance (esp. for the first) turned a lot of folks off those games and gradually the site. Many of the people I added for Resort World left Gaia when they ceased carrying the app, which wasn't really their fault, it was the provider's, but risking 2nd-party games instead of making their own is something they do often and people get angry and leave when they stop hosting them.

It has,sadly. I don't know how long you've been on the site, but if I recall correctly, the peak was around '07-10.

I don't quite remember the login record for the anniversary, but I was distracted with another site at the time.I even missed out on getting the box of chocolates for my main account. emo

And, yes, a max user count was a feature until recently. Hmm. I wonder when they took it down.

It really does depress me a bit to see this downturn. I've been on this site for ages. I was so excited to send in a donation and get my MC. I don't entirely get what's happened. I would suspect the focus on other entertainment venues might play some part, alongside with the recent bout of layoffs. I wasn't even against the idea of Rumblekitten, only it won't work on iPads.

Sorry, now I'm just rambling. sweatdrop

Good to hear your feeling better now.
I always try to beat things I get w/o anitibiotics if I can. I hate taking meds.

It's been nice today. Sunshine all day, but living on the beach it is still coolish out. Enjoy you day. I'm heading off for some dinner shortly. biggrin
