THE TURKS

User Image

The Turks (タークス, Tākusu) is the unofficial nickname of the Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department of the Shinra Electric Power Company in Final Fantasy VII. They work inside the Department of Public Safety under Heidegger. The Turks perform black ops on behalf of the corporation, including kidnappings and assassinations. One of their main functions is to "recruit" SOLDIER candidates by force. The spin-off game Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII- focuses exclusively on the Turks in the years leading up to Final Fantasy VII.

Family

User Image
Rufus (Not a Turk)
(ルーファウス神羅, Rūfausu Shinra) is a character from Final Fantasy VII. He acted as Vice President of the Shinra Corporation through Before Crisis and Crisis Core, and as President through most of Final Fantasy VII. He most likely gained the title due to the fact that he is President Shinra's son.

User Image
Tseng
Tseng is the stern, temperamental, long black-haired leader of the Turks. Though he is loyal to Shinra he often betrays orders for his own personal reason. For example, he puts off capturing Aerith Gainsborough for years, and does not kill his old mentor Verdot. Elena is smitten with him. Injured by Sephiroth in the Temple of the Ancients, he was unseen for the rest of Final Fantasy VII, presumed by many fans to be dead. However, he appears in the movie Advent Children together with Elena, saving Rufus after he threw Jenova's head—and himself—off of a building. He was tortured by Kadaj early in the film, but was eventually rescued by Vincent Valentine.

User Image
Reno (Hey that's Me!!!)
Reno is said to be the fastest of the Turks. Cocky, cynical and somewhat lazy, he has a long red ponytail. Unlike the other Turks, who all are well-groomed and professional, Reno's suit is sloppy and untucked. Reno serves as an antagonist throughout Final Fantasy VII. He fights using an electro-magnetic rod, and is usually seen alongside Rude. In Advent Children, he is seen with Rufus and the rest of the Turks, and helps Cloud fight Kadaj and his gang.

User Image
Rude
Rude is a tall, bald man with a little goatee, and is rarely seen without Reno. He wears a pair of dark sunglasses constantly, even keeping a spare pair for if they break. He fights without weapons, much in the same way as Tifa Lockhart does. He has a soft spot for Tifa, demonstrated by the fact that he will not attack her if she battles him in the many encounters in Final Fantasy VII, and has even (reluctantly) admitted to having a crush on her. In the last battle he absorbs fire. He is seen with Rufus in Advent Children. Also he helps Reno fight Kadaj and his gang.

User Image
Elena
A young woman with short, blond hair and brown eyes, she is naive, impetuous and somewhat overeager. Her older sister was also a Turk, though the two were not on speaking terms. During the time of Final Fantasy VII, she was the newest member of the Turks, promoted after Cloud, Barret, and Tifa injured Reno. She appears to fight using grenades and other projectiles rather than a normal weapon. When you fight her she absorbs ice. She was tortured by Kadaj and spent most of Advent Children recovering, returning with Tseng in time to save Rufus.

User Image
Cissnei
she plays a large role in Crisis Core helping Zack Fair. Known as "Shuriken (Female)" in 'Before Crisis, she calls herself "Cissnei" when talking to Zack Fair, though she says that is not her real name. Cissnei is warm-hearted and player. She puts her personal morals above her Shinra orders. Some Second and Third Class SOLDIERs consider her the most beautiful woman in Shinra.

User Image
Verdot
He is the previous leader of the Turks. He has no patience with failure from his subordinates. Most of the Turks are terrified of Verdot's severity; Tseng, however, considers him a role model and eventually succeeds him. Despite his tough exterior, he is actually a man pained by the loss of his family, and eventually betrays Shinra with the player Turks to save his daughter, Elfé. Verdot appears only in Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-.
User Image
Vincent
served as a gunman in the Turks, thirty years prior to the start of Final Fantasy VII. Despite his young appearance, Vincent is actually old enough to have worked with Verdot when they were both new Turks. While on a mission in Nibelheim during the later stages of the Jenova Project, Vincent was shot by Hojo, who then used him for experimental purposes, turning him into the man seen in Final Fantasy VII and its subsequent sequels. The experiment Professor Hojo performed on Vincent altered his body in many ways, one of the most notable is he does not age. Thirty years after the experiment his features remains the same, although he has lived for 57 years.

User Image
Genesis Rhapsodos
originally known as G, is a mysterious character who appears in both Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- and Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-. He appears to have exceptionally bright mako eyes, and bears a single black wing on his left shoulder, in contrast to the one Sephiroth bears on his right. His age is thought to be around twenty-five years, and his signature weapon is a b*****d sword with a complex hilt. His link to the Deepground organization has been explained through the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania, since only the Tsviets, which have "colors", are injected with his cells. It is known is that he is the product of Jenova Project G. Weiss and Nero of Deepground are referred to as his "brothers" in both Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core, although this is not in the literal sense. In Crisis Core, Genesis' Digital Mind Wave is Apocalypse.

User Image
Angeal Hewley
is a 1st Class SOLDIER, approximately 25 years old. He is the son of Gillian Hewley and Dr. Hollander, created by Project G. He often plays the role of a mentor to Zack Fair in Crisis Core, and he passes down the Buster Sword to his student. His true character is stoic and serious, but he has a playful side, calling Zack "the puppy". Angeal gets along well with the 1st Classes, Sephiroth and Genesis. He bears two white wings on the right side of his back, which seems to cause him some uneasiness as he considers them the traits of a monster. He has a small fanclub in Crisis Core, called the Keepers of Honor. He is played by Kazuhiko Inoue in Japanese, and Josh Gilman in English.

User Image
Zack Fair
is an non-player character from Final Fantasy VII and the main protagonist of its prequel, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. The wielder of the Buster Sword before Cloud, Zack is a 1st Class SOLDIER and is Cloud's best friend during their time working for Shinra. However, after Sephiroth goes insane, they become test subjects to Professor Hojo, and Zack ultimately sacrifices himself to save Cloud's life. He is also Aerith Gainsborough's former boyfriend.

About

User Image

Reno (レノ?) is a prominent member of the Turks, ranking directly below Tseng. He sports a lanky physique, and unkempt red hair terminating in a long pony-tail. He has two symmetrical red tattoos across his cheekbones and wears goggles on his forehead. He is much less attentive to dress code than his colleagues, wearing the Turk uniform but with his jacket unzipped and his shirt untucked and open-necked without a tie. He uses a retractable, metallic stun baton, called an Electro-Mag Rod, as a weapon. Reno is characterized as cocky, cynical, and somewhat lazy, but is highly skilled and takes pride in his work. Reno also has a penchant for gossiping and is a competent helicopter pilot. He is voiced by Keiji Fujiwara in Japanese and Quinton Flynn in English.

Reno is first encountered in Final Fantasy VII when he enters a derelict church in the slums of Midgar's Sector 5 in an attempt to capture Aerith. Not long after, he activates the bombs that blow up the Sector 7 support pillar before having a brief battle with Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockhart ,and Barret Wallace. This fight leaves him temporarily incapacitated. He can be seen in a bar at Junon, and later reappears outside of Gongaga with his long-time partner, Rude, having been assigned to intercept AVALANCHE. Despite the rivalry between the two groups, he is not beyond teaming up with Cloud and his companions in Wutai, where both parties had to work together after each had a member kidnapped by Don Corneo. After this incident, Reno's group receives new orders to search for Cloud but Reno decides not to fight Cloud on the pretext of being off duty. Near the end of Disc Two of Final Fantasy VII, the player has the option to fight Elena, Reno, and Rude, or refuse the battle.[citation needed]

Reno has a role in Before Crisis, appearing originally as an unplayable character, but later starring in his own "episode". Reno has a prominent role in Advent Children. Consistent with his attitude at the end of the original Final Fantasy VII, Reno possesses no true hostility towards his former enemies.[31] Reno and Rude primarily serve as the film's comic relief. Reno assists Cloud and his friends in defeating the three Remnants, though still works under Rufus. Later, Reno and the other Turks are seen watching Rufus recover from Geostigma. In Last Order, Reno has a cameo appearance, working under Tseng in the capture of Cloud and Zack. In Crisis Core, Reno is encountered in Midgar and appears in a DMW. At the end of the game, he is flying a helicopter and working with Rude to find Zack.

BUT............ in GAIAONLINE this is about Reno (Final Fantasy)and Axel (Kingdom Hearts)!!!!!!!!
