The name's Daija. I am only one in a family of five, every one of us destined to be the ninja we are, as were my parents, grandparents, and so forth. I am the middle child, with two older brothers and two younger sisters. We live in Suna... most of the time. I am the 'black sheep' in the family, if you will. When I was born, there was a severe sand storm. It became so intense that it broke the glass window in my mother's hospital room at the moment I emerged from her womb. The sand covered my body, and my body alone. My hair is sandy brown in color now, and the Sand physically blinded me. However, I have a special 'sight'. Don't ask... you won't like the answer. The Sand of my village has both blessed and cursed me. I find that my only escape from my torturous joy is my solitary friend, Temari, the older sister of Kankuro and Gaara. Even my love for Kankuro has left me with nothing.
