Big a** Gaia Update
We've been promising a lot of different updates here and there throughout all the past ATA sessions, and I want to take a moment to sum up most of the things that we're working on right now and give more details to some of the cool things that you have all been looking forward to. So here it is!

Gaia Flash Games

Tiles - Most of you already know about the new game coming out in a few days. Part of the deal is that there will be a 30 second pre-game ad that pops up, but hope the wait is worth it!
Jigsaw update - We've added a ton of puzzles in Jigsaw and updated a management system that will allow us to have more frequent updates down the road
Item exchange update - We've made new exchange items for those who are sitting on a lot of trash from Towns
Fishing update - Juno had been working hard on a sizable update which includes new prizes and the availability of the legendary Angelic Rod! On top of that, fishing will join forces with Gaia Aquarium to have fishes and decorations as prizes for the exchange. Catch fishes = add fishes to aquarium, match made in heaven!
Prize and Joy update - It's time for more fancy prizes and expensive items for the high rollers of the casino. Juno had been on over-drive making all these flash game updates happen
zOMG - As the team is wrapped up on the Halloween update, word is that they're finishing up on the Coliseum update. Still looking at a few more weeks of development until the new update's ready.

Gaia Manga - There's been a bit of delay, but the next installment should be ready before or during the Halloween event.

New Arenas - Arenas had gone through a complete rewrite to give a much better ranking and management system. Artists will be able to upload artwork and have pictures hosted by Gaia, and there will be an arena contest system which will allow us to put up contest on a regular basis. Expect a lot more frequent contests and prizes from Arenas from the new release. New Arenas should be ready in November.

More events - The post your hair event is the beginning of a host of events that we're offering to the community. In the near future there will be more and more creative, game-like, or completely whacky events by Darknrgy and friends.

EI evolution continues - As we have just gotten more help in the art team, we're looking forward to being able to evolve some of our old oustanding EI's. Don't have a solid time yet, but it should be within 2 or 3 weeks time.

Gaia Towns/Rally - The zOMG team's had been instrumental in converting the zOMG engine to support the Towns and Rally flash spaces so that we can rid of the security problems that plagues our current flash space. The project is still on-going, and hopefully we can have a release date later on in the season.

Personally I'm working towards bringing back the Gaia world map, but lots of details are still to be ironed out. Let's see how things go and I'll post more details about this later.

So overall we've been busy with the same old goal - to keep everyone enjoy their time on Gaia. I understand that a lot of the updates are a long time coming and I apologize on the long wait. But finally many of these updates are coming and expect them to be released one after another in the coming weeks as we have each update ready.
