Lottery Draw - 24th&31st Rules and Prizes

RULES

The rules are simple. Please indicate in a comment on my profile your desire to be included in the draw(s). I will place your name in the list and assign you a lotto number. I will set up the draw in the main Gaia forums and use random number to select winners. I will put the shortcut to that thread here so everyone can see that the election process is legit, and there will be no argument over who is the winner. If there are any proceeds left, they will be divided amongst her friends and GFG guild members who did NOT participate in draw as a parting gift from Crys. What you do with the gift is up to you.

PRIZES

Prizes for both draws as follows:
1st Place Winner - 100,000 gold or equivalent
2nd Place Winner - 50,000 gold or equivalent
3rd Place Winner - 25,000 gold or equivalent
4th Place Winner - 10,000 gold or equivalent
5th to 10th Place - 5,000 gold or equivalent
All entrants who don't win a prize will recieve 2000 gold or equivalent.

All prizes will be CASH (gold) prizes, but since most of Crys's wealth is in Market items, I will give the winners gold and market items with a total value equalling or exceeding the prize amount. I don't have time to sell all her stuff and I don't really care if the winners get slightly more than the prize indicated. Also from what I understand, Gaia officials frown on huge transfers of gold anyway and I don't want to get anyone in trouble.
Winners are NOT to complain about what they get. It is free items and gold you are recieving and you should not look a gift horse in the mouth. All transactions between myself and winners will be duly recorded.

About

I am a computer technician. I operate my own computer repair business and have done so for the last 11 years here in sunny Alberta. I have been happily married for over 31 years and have 3 kids, one who used to hang out on Gaia. I was here to keep an eye on her and helped where I could. Now she is ill in hospital and will not be back to Gaia anytime soon.
I am an ex-CAF soldier and worked in her majesty's Postal Service for over 15 years as a letter carrier. I am 57 years old now and feel ancient thanks to my kids living at home for so long. My sons moved out this year and so it is just me and the missus and our daughter when she comes home.
You can send me a PM if you wish, but you have to forgive me if I don't get back to you right away as I am a very busy man and not really a Gaia person. The kids may not be at home now, but the wife still keeps me busy, when my business doesn't.

LOTTERY DRAW JULY 24th & 31ST

My daughter wanted to share her wealth with her friends and newbies of the NSTG. She has been giving to newbies and her friends ever since she started over a year ago. She showed her love by giving, and tried to be a real friend, even to those who found it hard to accept or understand her and were suspicious or mistrusting of all online acquaintances. She believed that you could love someone even though you never met face to face, and indeed she loves all her online friends as much as her offline ones, even though many didn't love or trust her. Crys is a very loving, caring and forgiving and trusting person, which often gets her into trouble as ppl took advantage of her (ones who don't really care about her)or misunderstood her.

But Crys is ill in hospital and she will not be home for several months. She told us she is embarrassed by the fact everyone knows now she has this illness and kept it from allot of her online friends as she felt they would feel sorry for her and pity her, and she didn't want that. The medication for her illness will eventually kill her as it attacks the organs of the body. But maybe the love of her online friends will bring her back to Gaia, but I am not sure, and if so, not as Kalisha-Kenosh or Crystal-1ite.

So in celebration of Crys's birthday on July 24th I am having a lottery to liquidate her assets. Her friends and guild members will be sent a notice this weekend. An announcement will be made in the NSTG by Tena_79 inviting everyone there to participate. You are under no obligation to enter, though I know Crys would want all her friends to enter.

There will be a second Lottery Draw on July 31st which is my mom's (Crys's grandma) birthday. She will be 87 years old. She is failing fast however and we have lost her already to the dreaded Alzheimer’s disease. She is not the same mom I knew. She doesn't even remember me or Crys sad Understandably Crys is not taking this well, and the fact she is in hospital and can't see her doesn't help. But maybe it is better she doesn't as mom doesn't know her anymore. Crys used to call her every day when my mom was in the old folks home.

Once again ya didn't have to do that but you did. U dun have to clean out Crys' inventory but you are. You could have just changed all the info on her account & left it at that. BUT U did what U could to help ppl out! I think that's really kewl!

Anyways, I will use the gold & prizes for sumthin but I'm not sure what yet. To be perfectly honest I do believe that God wants me to quit Gaia altogether. It's a long story but IF I do quit I'll give MY inventory to those who deserve it most! AND even if U neverver use Gaia again after this. I'll give you a token of my thanks in one way or another. Sumthin tor ur AVI that shows that U have helped ppl out greatly! It's the best I can do to thank you for all you have done that U really didn't have to.

I will talk to THE Santa Claus about it and try to figure out the best time and way to hold it. I want to thank him and his elves again for helping me clean out all the junk Crys collected. I am sure there was over 25,000g worth. All I know is that there was well over 50 trades. I lost count after 50. In fact, the trades are still not done for that yet. I keep finding more items under 300g in value. For those of you who don't know, THE Santa Claus has a newbie charity going here on Gaia and is a member of NSTG. In fact, it was my daughter who befriended and invited him last year to the NSTG, and he has been an active member since and has helped many newbies. If you wish to donate to a worthy cause, Santas Christmas Charity is the one to recieve your support.
