I am actually looking for more horror manga/comics. Uzumaki was really my 'first'. XD

I'm already a huge horror fan, so I watched the movie Uzumaki. It was only so-so, but then I found out about the manga and read it. Holy. Crap. It had been AGES since something I read genuinely creeped the hell out me as much as Uzumaki did. I want more, but I don't know where to look. Simple searching on Google hasn't gotten me far, since 'horror' is now synonymous with 'gore'. I don't hate gore, but it doesn't frighten me, and it certainly doesn't leave the impact Uzumaki did.

True horror in any genre is so hard to find. emo

And that's the problem with this site. Gaia it's self have a vague understanding of the word. Thus gaians tend to use Gaia's definition and wonder why they think people who don't like what they like are consider trolls. No. All the other social, meme related, and other website that uses internet lingo I been on have a clear understanding on what trolling means. This site is the only one who have yet to get it.

How can that statement be consider "flame baiting" when the statement wasn't inflammatory? Flame baiting is just people spewing Ad hominems at one another. Why is this the only website that I have been on where people have limited knowledge on internet lingo?

yeah. I've done it the other way (with ice/salt/stir) but it is sooooooooo messy that the machine is well worth the cost and quality.

I've got these awesome recipies tho. Like Banana pecan ice cream and pepermint chocolate flake and raspberry lime. Omg... In the summer I have homemade ice cream like twice a week.

By hand yo.
I have a hand crank for getting the noodles perfect.
I also make homemade ice cream a bunch too.

Yeah, if you make noodles by hand the dough is just 3 cups of flour and 4 eggs, you just mix it together and then knead the junk out of the dough. Then crank it till its thin enough.

I think it ran in the family. Her daughter was cuckoo for cocoa puffs and was convinced that the child she bore out of wedlock was the second coming of Christ., even gave away Bibles to her friends around the date of his non-immaculate conception. That child was the beleaguered grandson I mentioned earlier, and last I saw him he was starting to lose his mind himself.

To be fair, the German fellow she dissed was rather well-known for developing rockets and bombs; that was why he had been relocated to the states, to design them for us. She had no problem with that, at least none that she told me of, but it seems hypocritical. Either be a dove or a hawk,do not pretend to be both.

Agreed. I gathered that good manners were not her strong suit, as she bragged to me about insulting a man at her dinner parties. He was from Germany and she was bitching at him about WW2 - in the 1960s. ("You bombed my cousins in England!" to which he replied "You bombed my family in Germany." wink She was always very nice to me, but many of her grandson's other friends were terrified of her; I believe she had physically attacked one after he burned a pan that belonged to her.

I have no issues with the consumption of raw milk. I've drunk milk straight out of the cow I was milking, and the butter made from that milk was the best I've ever had. I would not necessarily recommend it for someone with a compromised immune system, but I would still drink it myself, and I've seen recipes for cheese that I'd like to try making which call for raw, not pasteurized. It can't be sold in MD, though. PA sells it and there was an incident last year where several dozen people became ill - diarrhea and fever - from bacteria in the milk. They closed down the dairy for 11 days.

I knew an old lady who was vehemently opposed to raw milk, or rather, less-processed milk. She didn't actually know the difference between homogenization and pasteurization, and refused to let her grandson shop at Trader Joe's (a block away from them) because they sold milk products that were not homogenized. emotion_facepalm

I'm not sure what kind of flowers, maybe clover? It reminded me a bit of clover honey, and clover is well-known for growing in pastures. It is also often planted as a cover crop because clover helps fix nitrogen in the soil.

We can buy some very tasty milk down here in MD from Trickling Springs Creamery, which, it turns out, is in PA. It only comes in glass bottles, though, and since the store is 2 miles away and I walk, i don't get it as often as I'd like.

Wow, that milk sounds incredible!

I've had onion-flavored milk on occasion, ugh. I suppose it would be impractical to taste the milk from each cow before the milk all gets mixed together for bottling. I've also had milk that tasted like flowers and that was delicious.

She's territorial. She has this cube, and if any of the other cats go near it she'll attack them. Loves scratching on the furniture as well.
Peeing on the floor? That's no good. How many litter boxes do you have?
