life story

That's nice, I'm doing pretty good myself.
Oh, you wanted to know more about me?
Well, I guess I could tell you. You know, since you're curious and all (who knows why).
Well, my name is Laurel, but I have a few nicknames, like Little Laurel, Lofo, Lorfasprings, or Youwiththefaceoverthere. I've had a few usernames too, starting with Kira Akasaka, through AquaPearlHanon, [ .Tic.Tac.Mafia. ], Volturi, and now it's Colorful Grass Clippings. Yeah, weird, right? I've spent waay too much gold on my sporadic name changes.
My favorites things are varied, but usually have to do with music, art, socializing, or other random things. I listen to music just about as much as I physically can, and someday I want to compose my own music, just for fun. I love singing, and it's been a secret ambition of mine to be a famous singer. I've gotten closer to that goal by joining my school's Varsity Choir. That's about as far as I'll get.
I stalk DA like no one's business, and I love the way that working on a piece of artwork is like therapy - it helps you forget what's going on, and just focus on your subject. That's helpful sometimes. I like drawing and painting, and I might take a ceramics class this year. I kind of want to major in visual communication design or something like that. I've always wanted to be a teacher, maybe I'll be an art teacher. Or maybe not.
I talk a lot. Like how this About Me thing is going to be ridiculously long. I love RPing when I'm interested in the subject, but unfortunately, I'm a lazy procrastinator and I'll drop something if I stop liking it. I'm kind of a good writer/RPer. I hope.
I like some other random stuff, too, like History and anime (though I'm not huge on it anymore), and make up and stuff like that. Another one of my dreams is to work in a salon and be a cosmetician. After college, I'm going to go to beauty school just so that I can have a trade job before I start a career.
I also obsess over things. One of my current obsessions is college.

Band: Ludo (Hum Along is like my favorite song by them and I could talk about them for hours about how Andrew Volpe may just be the most perfect man on the face of the earth and ohmygoodness every member of the band is hilarious and I saw them live once and it was the greatest day of my life)
