Good luck with that. If it was 2006 still you would have a much better chance, but now that they are much more mainstream they can't really meet fans as much. They have been kicked and spit on and that defers them from wanting to hang out after shows any more. Which is really sad, considering they miss being able to do so. It's not impossible, its just less likely to happen.

She is so sweet. If you listen to the playlist for the Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Texas you can hear me singing (read: yelling awkwardly and not trying to sing at all) to a lot of the songs. Haha.
Next time you get the chance go, they are really good live. I try to see them a couple times every year. I make up a number each time I talk about how many times I have seen them because I don't know. It is more than 5 but less than 10. I don't think I could ever get a specifically T&S tattoo. I just wouldn't want it. But I am glad you are getting one. biggrin

Is it your first tattoo?
I have an anchor that has lyrics from On Directing. Which happened kind of accidentally.
I was visiting my friend in D.C. for her birthday (Maybe you watch her videos on youtube, wojo4hitz?) and we all started drawing on each other in sharpie. Someone drew an anchor on me that said "you hold me." I wanted that as a tattoo but I didn't want anything that could be related to any one person. So I thought I would change it and the first thing I thought of was "hold on to me." Someone asked me if they were from On Directing and they weren't supposed to be, but now I just sort of go with it. It's not supposed to be anything related to T&S, but whatever.
This will be my 7th or 8th time to see them since 2006.

They are my favourite. Not necessarily my musical inspiration, but I do love them and enjoy playing their songs.
I am going to go see them for the umpteenth time at the Newport Folk Fest in Rhode Island.
I hope you enjoy your tattoo. biggrin
