Matt (Mail Jeevas) was the third in line for succeeding L. He does not show much interest in what he does, and is often found playing video games, (his psp), and smoking. He has red hair, and often wears goggles, along with a black stripped shirt in either red or any other colors he prefers.
He can be seen working along side with Mello, who had asked for his help and he just agreed to it.Mainly only helping Mello in capturing Takada, he would distract the police in order to follow him. He is at the age of 20 once he was finally killed by the angry Kira worshippers but he had failed to escape them, getting shot to death.
