Nickname seems to be Ava;
(For any versed in Greek, I'm aware that Άνά would be "Ana", but a friend calls me Ava so that's that)

If I tipped your post it's probably in silent assent. A shared sentiment.
Either that or you made mention of music I am fond of.

Paha, i'm oddly impressed! My most recent study was pretty abysmal too, no results that even approached significance. Starting to think this is a theme with undergrad research.
Oh god, don't get me started on my tutor! He's lovely but he's the admissions tutor so he's incredibly busy and impossible to contact. Plus, horribly disorganised...he's just cancelled this week's tutorial because he's managed to miss a flight and get stranded in Canada at a conference, bless him. Can't deny that it's a good excuse, though!
In my uni's defence, only one of our modules so far has been a bit rubbish - we had one on Research in Psych in first year, which was just a bunch of staff talking about their current research. Totally irrelevant to the rest of our degree bar maybe three or four of the lectures, but at the same time so interesting! Really gave me a passion for research.
Oh wow, that's kind of impressively bad. I'm gonna stop complaining about my department I think! At least the lecturers turn up on time! Hope that meeting with your tutor actually happened, haha~
(I love my degree, but the psych department here are seriously worse than useless. gonk )
Your university sounds so wonderful, haha. All we did in first year stats was learn how to do a whole bunch of tests by hand. Not fun.
That is all.
