Everyone in the country seemed to be at the huge football stadium. People of colors, shapes, sizes, personalities were all there. A bright blue line crossed the field. Every student from Little Rock High School was there. Over 800 students and 70 teachers were all on one side of the line. A tall, bald guy named Mr. Blake stood up with a microphone in his hands. He told everyone that he will be shouting out catagories and that the kids must go if they fit there. " If you ever have been bullied, abused, raped, or beaten, please go on the other side of the tape." It turns out that every student went hesitantly but gradually. Everyone was looking down at there feet until a tall, skinny kid looked up and said "whoa!" Each student found that they all were on the side. They each look into eachothers eyes, seeing pain, anger, relief, and sadness.
" You guys all should learn something from here. You all have different personalities but share the same emotions. You all share pain. You are not alone. Everyone is going through hard times, happy, sad, cheerful times. Not at the same time or the same thing. We aren't detailing everything." Says Mr. Blake who also had a sad look in his eyes.
No matter what we say or don't say, the hurt is always going to be there. The problem is wheather we want to share it with someone in our life. Its hard, thinking that others wouldn't understand but the truth is.....its not only you. It takes courage, strength to let someone in and help. Its takes strength to cry because that heals your heart. So do we want to let someone in and help our problems or do we want to take the long road and figure it out ourselves?
