Hi, I'm not a lumberjack or a fur trader. I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber or own a dogsled. And I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suesy from Canada, although I'm certain they're really really nice. I have a Prime Minister, not a President. I speak english and french, not american. And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'. I can proudly sew my country's flag to my backpack. I believe in peacekeeping, not policing. Diversity, not assimilation. And that the beaver is a truely proud and noble animal. The toque is a hat. A chesterfield is a couch. And it is pronounced 'zed', not 'zee', 'zed'. Canada is the second largest land mass, the first nation of hockey and the best part of North America. My name is Mike, and I am Canadian.Now for more specific details.
I graduated from high school this year and I'm going to be going to the University of Guelph next year. Gonna be going into biology. Probably end up being a vet but we'll see how things go.
I watch Simpsons about 3 or 4 times a day on average. I'd say it is the greatest show ever in the history of the world. However, 24 And Veronica Mars are probably the best shows this season. And Kiefer Sutherland and Kristen Bell are probably the best actor and actress on TV these days. I also enjoy South Park, Futurama, The Amazing Race, The Mercer Report, Everwood and Survivor and sometimes Family Guy. I also watch TSN and MuchMusic... a lot. Now everyone should go out and watch Veronica Mars. If you can't for whatever reason, buy the DVDs. You won't regret it.
I like listening too Sum 41, Blink 182, Green Day, Treble Charger, Nickelback, Simple Plan, K-os, Billy Talent, 3 Days Grace, James Blunt, The Offspring, Shania Twain, Great Big Sea, Arrogant Worms, Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie, GOB, The Used, City and Colour, Neverending White Lights, Linkin Park, Bare Naked Ladies, Finger Eleven...basically pretty much everything to be honest. If you don't recognize some of the bands I listed, then I'm not surprised.
I always enjoy watching hockey. My favourite NHL teams are the Canucks followed closely by the Ottawa Senators. I also always enjoy playing soccer. Although, the Newmarket Soccer Club kinda sucks... a lot.
I absolutey hate Jimmy Falen(sp?). Worst actor comedian ever in the history of the world. I use to be cool with Pepsi (but I've always like Coke more) but now that they've signed Jimmy Falen(sp?) as a spokesperson, I've litterally stayed away from Pepsi completely. They would have been much better off getting Kiefer Sutherland and Wayne Gretzky as spokespersons like Ford did.
I also like ketchup.
