ya he does the problem is she gives it back to him when she almost marries Yunna(that b*****d) and Kira abducts her from the ceremony but in the end of Gundam SEED DESTINY Athrun was apprently with Meyrin. But it was just officially realsed and i found out yesterday that there will be a third one i think it's going to be called Gundam SEED ETERNITY
