This guy does a good job of showing different stopping techniques. Apparently the one I was talking about is the "plow stop". I also do a variation of the spread eagle spinout lol

Ah ok, well there is another way to stop. You do a wide lemon, and you can even step it out to a stop. (If that doesn't make any sense, I can try finding a video) xp

I'm going skating again today, and it's the rink where they actually enforce it, which is nice.

You mean like a T stop extends your knee? Stopping is pretty important. It should be one of the first things skaters learn, but often don't lol

Yeah it's mind blowing how politicized they've become. Yet I don't even really know anyone who refuses to wear a mask...I just hear about it.

Nah I'm super afraid of falling too. I've had some bad falls in the past, so I'm extra careful. sweatdrop

Hmm, stopping techniques on inlines...I only know of a handful, and I only use a few. It's hard to stop suddenly, as opposed to slowing down to a stop.
I use the T-stop (drag stop) and use spin transitions to stop usually. And when I'm going backwards, there's another spin I do, but it's harder. I posted a video of it, heh.

Yeah I know. When everyone skates, they don't like to wear masks... so I'm just like, why...

I really, really want to start skate dancing! It's so hard tho lol
I can do a few tricks, but I'm wanting to get into rhythm/dance skating on quads and slalom on inlines!

Yeah! I skate with both quads and inlines, and have been stupid enough to go the indoor rinks lately. I just feel like I don't have a choice with the recent snow crying
