my favorite movies are animation films obviously, like miyzaki's films, which should be more widely accepted as art, not anime. they are of course the anime style, but they are so much more....i love the anime vandread, and i love the very episodic animes mostly, like kino no tabi.
i like heroes. i hate reality tv; it is easy and cheap, and also rude most times, and completely pointless. if you actually read this far, let me ask you a question- why watch things that exalt the obvious or ignorant?
i love manga, but i also am a bibliophile. i regularly read "normal" books, tho the ones i read, somehow, no ones reads. they are some very good ones, like the chronicles of the 'Cry of the Icemark, and The Adventures of Ven Polypheme. i love episodic manga as well; my favorite series is a manga called the Petshop of Horrors. I also read Kekkaishi, most of Clamps work, Inuyasha (the manga is so much better than the anime....), and just started reading Mar.
i love alot of different genres of music.... to pick a favorite, you'd have to know me better than me... cause i dont have a clue!
i love the rock bands like Disturbed, The Used, Yellowcard, Gackt, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and Hyde. i love techno, ESPECIALLY the featured DDR songs. i listen to Europop, Smile DK, Dj Satomi, and a few others- if you have any suggestions, i would willingly check them out!
as for pop music, anything japanese, like utada hikaru, and some others that i dont know the name of. again, suggestions please!
i love to draw, and paint with acrylics and watercolors- ( i am very bad at oils.....> sad ) i love to read of course, and i like music (duh!) and i also like to study and read up on ancient religions and cultures. i am learning martial arts- so far- from a friend, and i can tell you that bruises are not fun to deal with on this level! hahahahahahaha!
i am going to college, and attend regular meetings at the local anime club, AniMesa, also "part" of the college. they are a bunch of crazy people, and they are the best people to hang out with. i have to say that some of the people there are my best friends, and i greatly appreciate all they do for me.
i like to make people happy, and do not like unhappiness or pain, because it causes me pain as well. i am normally cheerful, and i love it. there is so much good i get to do when i have my mind in the right mood.
