That's possibly the dumbest reason I have ever heard for being banned. It's understandable that the want a clean environment for younger users, but this indiscriminate punishment is not helping at all.

It does nothing to stop the people who bring nothing but garbage to the table, and makes people who are just trying to enjoy the site angry.

I've gotten ban threats for posting spam in the GD, when all I did was use confusing words and sentences. Somehow that's worse than the countless p***s discussions, and "OMG I'm cooler than you!" topics.



They need a more laid back "mature" section of this site, complete with warning and disclaimer, but what are the chances they'll do something like that? They're too bent on keeping their Neopets image.

OK, now that I know who you are, I am no longer confused as to why I've never seen you in Uoe. I've been contacted by people who are Uoe, but never post there. They didn't mention that they were a member there either. That was strange, because they commented on my appearance, and at the time, Uoe was the only place you could find pictures of me.



Yeah, the main forums have really gone downhill over the years. CB used to have more content than the GD does now. But that's kind of to be expected when Gaia becomes more mainstream, and advertises on places like Myspace.



That sucks that you got banned. What was it for? (if you don't mind my asking)

I wasn't very active, I mostly lurked, but I've been persistently posting since 03. My first account is Lacan.



I was online a lot in 06-07, I think.

That, and I can just drop a bunch of pointless nonsense without worrying about clutter.

There are also more people to talk to, although the percentage of interesting people greatly diminishes.



Before I was invited to Uoe, I was in the GD a lot too.
