Stephen King inverts a lot of his own personal views on what he believes to be, and I quote, "the insular evils of small-town America" into his work. They're very symbolic, and I like that.

However, if his book is 700 pages (which is his norm), pages 1-500 will be character/plot introduction. He usually bases his works in towns, which means there's a lotta characters. Pages 500-600 will be when action finally starts taking place. Pages 600-700 is the climax and the end.
He's not for everyone, certainly--but the first 500 pages aren't just boring-a** worthless crap. There certainly is meaning and thus potential behind them, and I see that. However, his work isn't something you're edging to return to. Not for long, anyhow.

But that's just speaking for myself. Are you familiar with his work?

"The Once and Future King"? Hmm. Never heard of it.

xDD

Is it stealing if you buy the two year plan? Or are you gonna get that refunded?

I've never been a huge fan of HP, either. I have a Dell.
I don't like Apple products that much yet. Not their computer line, anyhow.
But hey. We'll see.

I'm actually reading right now--finishing off the last hundred pages or so of 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King.

Nice,
xD

I don't really move my laptop around, so it's always on its charger--but my parents' laptop (we have the same one) lost its charger and man, that battery is pathetic.
xD

These laptops are two and a half years old, so we don't see the point in replacing anything. We're just waiting for them to serve their purpose fully and then get new ones.
xD

Dad wants the Mac, though I'm not so keen.

See, I thought that too; that I'd never in my life be able to afford anything I wanted.
xD

But just this past week I bought Silent Night (80k), Dreamer's Dust (70k), and Royal Wizard (45k).
That's a borderline 200k, using a method I just stumbled upon very recently.

There's definitely nothing wrong with the marketplace. However, there's two downsides to it, as I've come to notice:
1) You need a certain amount of gold/items to start off.
2) To buy new things, you need to sell old things.

Marketplace is great for people who use GCash (aka idiots), since they've got another form of income.

I use Booty Grab from people with good tanks. That's more or less 1k (if you know how to play it--yes, there's tactics to even that game, xD) per tank, and it accumulates really quickly.
However, I've come to notice that not all computers can play it, which is why I've stopped recommending it.

No no no; never.
xD

I never take anything back once it's given.
But thank you for the kind thought.
=3

I'm in southern Canada, so it can get quite cold, though it hasn't yet.

And y'know, you're not gonna save up very well if you do stuff to earn gold like commenting (40 gold per, max).

OceanicLullaby

Ohh, no.
xD

I just checked--90k.

Chyoku whatever (the red one) should be over 200k.
Prices skyrocket easily.

See, I want Winter Rose and Snow Feather, but now I'm debating over it.
I mean, can I REALLY match them with stuff?
I hate buying stuff I never use.

Well, how do you plan on saving up?

I appreciate the offer on the math help; but the way I learn best is if I figure it out myself.
I'm sure I can do it.
^^

Nitemare, huh? I don't understand why everyone likes the scarf items--they're almost impossible to match, with my wardrobe anyhow.
xD

Last I checked it was 100k, more or less. Has it gone up?

Kay. I have, like, two more questions to go; so I wanna finish it and then talk.

My math teacher likes to give part marks to students he likes. I'm guessing I'm one of them...?
Well, with a 95.8% overall average, I'm on fairly good terms with most of my teachers.
xD

Anyhow; I think I just found something else to quest.
=D
Snow Feather ftw~
xD

Right now it's only 65k, and it won't grow past 80k. I'll have it soon.
I'm not sure how much I would want it, so if I don't like it, I can always sell it at a discount.
3nodding

Everything in my store is at a super discount, since I like finding deals and providing deals to others too. Earning money means nothing to me.

Well, dinner. I'll talk to you later then.

I appreciate the offer; I get the principle, but I guess you can say I don't "see" it like I do with most other things.
Like, with most other units, I can do it, skip steps, and know that it's right. I don't have this confidence here, and I can't spot errors as nicely or avoid them for that matter.
xD
It's just about practice--I think I'll be okay.
But thank you.
^^

When I'm not questing - which I usually never am - I'm always dishing out gold. The way I see it, if I don't use it, then it has no meaning; I'd much rather give it to someone who will use it.
xD

So hey--if I like you, it's not impossible that...
wink
xD

I'm a bit too loose on money, so I'm told.

But anyhow--focus. Math. NOT sleep. Math. Yes.
>.>

I have my ways, and I'm sure you will too.
^^
(It's not that I necessarily mind telling anyone, though I do like for others to discover these things on their own; but this apparently doesn't work on all computers, so I don't wanna get anyone's hopes up and then dash it.)

Anyhow; I'll be slow in commenting, since I'm trying to do math right now. I don't have a 95% for nothing, but factoring is majorly pissing me off.
D=<

So hey--enjoy the 10k and try to make it last by budgeting and earning gold while you spend it.
