I almost cried reading your thread about your cat (and very close to it once I saw the picture of him). My cat's about three years old and I have no idea what I'd do if, god forbid, something were to happen to her. She's very adventurous and I get so paranoid she'll hurt herself one day. Everyone in my family loves her she always seems to know when one of us is upset, and she'll be cuddly and affectionate. Most people don't seem to get that animals can love and care for you, and you can love and care for them in return. I always feel so sad and horrible when I read things about animals in pain, just like I'd get sad if I read something about a human being in pain.
