About

Usually I find out about new productions, watching trailers before the screening in the cinema.

The same was true for the "Perfect Plan". The perfect trailer caught my attention in the first moment. In addition, Denzel Washington and Clive Owen ...

Well, such a pair together with a well-constructed trailer can effectively encourage you to spend money on another cinema ticket. However, the question remains: "was it worth it?".

The "perfect plan" is the story of a kind of rivalry between two people. Two strong and full of charisma guys who really know what they're doing. Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington) - an ambitious detective, he tries to control the situation after a bank robbery in the time of hostage taking. He begins a real game with Dalton Russell (Clive Owen) - the creator of a brilliant and risky attack plan, which seems to be a tough criminal. The situation is additionally complicated when the mysterious Madeliene White (Jodie Foster) joins the game to take care of the interests of an influential man.

Everything is perfect in the "Perfect Plan". The first minutes attract attention with extraordinary music. Later, of course, it gets even more interesting. A perfectly composed scenario gives the possibility of many guesses, as to the further action of the film, a great acting game really satisfies even a consummate cinema fan, and the pictures - after a while, start to draw in like a whirlwind.

The perfectly chosen way of filming individual scenes is impressive.

The police intervention action is shown in an unstable, runaway and short, though meaningful, series of shots.

The music appearing in the background fits perfectly with the picture.

In one word...

great performance. The "perfect plan" belongs to the category of movies, which can be described as 'if you want to know what's going on ... wait until the end'.

Dialogues conducted in a very well-selected way, really matching the situation, are alive in this picture. You do not feel the plastic concept of a police officer or a cheap cunning in them. Everything fits like a glove. Watching this movie, my feelings were between observing the action calmly and wondering if something would finally happen, and with tension and anticipation for an explanation. An unusual feeling, which is not often experienced in today's cinema focused on action, speed and flooding the viewer with the view of subsequent punched out blows. Spike Lee really showed in this movie how to do something that is perfect ...
