"No, it does sound suspicious. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one. The waitress said they were dressed nicely, and that they said they were merchants when she talked to them. Really they could have been anyone. That's what worries me."

"A waitress said she saw him leave with a group of other merchants, but I've asked around and nobody seems to remember what they looked like. And she didn't remember the merchants well enough to give me a good description. It's not much to go on."

"No pictures, just a description. He likes to gamble, so I've already checked every seedy tavern I could. His son just said that he had been gone on a business trip for a few weeks longer than he said he would be and that he was worried that he hadn't sent any word. He's a merchant, but his partners don't know where he is either."
