About His Highness
"I am the King of Cats!"
''One winter night, a man comes bursting home through his door calling out to his wife, “Who’s Balgeary!?!”
Startled, the man’s wife asks him what the matter is.
The man proceeds to tell his wife how he was working in the cemetery digging a new grave when he had fallen asleep. He woke up hearing a cat’s meow and when he looked out over the edge of the grave hole, he saw a procession of nine black cats all carrying a little coffin with a gold crown laid upon it. That at every third step the cats took, they’d all meow again in unison. Eventually the group of cats made their way towards the man. Standing before him, one of the cats tells the man: “Tell Balgeary that Balgury is dead.”
The man had barely finished retelling the tale when suddenly, the family cat, who lay curled up tranquilly by the fire, sprang to its feet and cried out, "Old Balgury's dead? Then I am the King of the Cats!" The cat ran and disappeared in a flash up the chimney, never to be seen from again. ''
The King of the Cats is a folk tale that comes from early Britain and has any different variations.
Your royal highness prefers to be called "King Balgeary," and is associated with "Gremalkin the Cat". I fancy giving gifts to my loyal subjects and visiting with the people around Gaiaonline. If you wish to invite me to your soiree, please feel free to quote me.
I would like to remind my loyal friends that I am not an NPC, admin, mod, nor staff member of Gaiaonline. I am consumer-based user. Er. Cat.
Meow.
King Balgeary accepts friends requests from only the classiest of Gaians, but any gifts to appease your royal king are accepted. He is a busy feline, and normally does not socialize with users unless he is feeling generous enough to grace them with his golden presence.
He may be inclined to accept invitations that are sent with a bottle of fresh cream, chilled.
Or if catnip is involved.
