Love the color.

Ah, yea.
Busy busy busy.
That's life, though.
Gotta stay on your toes.

Enjoy first year, it's the best year.
Do all sorts of crazy, stupid things. That's the only year you can get away with it.
Hahaha, just have fun.
Dont think twice. Just dont do drugs, drink and drive, or get pregnant.

I woke up late, so I had no choice.
I'm eating some ramen on the go. ; u ;
Hopefully that helps. Got a banana and granola bar for later.

Haha, sorry to hear that your school pride has already got the best of you.
I'm personally a fan of UCLA. /oops
Nothing against USC but... c;

Im not sure. It's just long hours.
If you can suffer through a 9-5 of doing menial things over and over again, for about 2 years, you're fine.
You still have time.
God knows what you'll actually be doing.
You might change your mind or major. Stay open-minded.

Lolol, yea.
It's expensive.
Kegs don't pay for themselves.

Aha, never heard of that one, but I've heard of some creative other ones.
Prime ones are the ones that make fun of mascots.

Haha, prepare to make a lot of photocopies, scan 600+ documents a day, and obviously, coffee runs. Gotta start somewhere.
Business is a cruel, cruel world. It's all about money. You are viewed as either an asset or liability. If you don't make money, there is no need for you.
You have to harden up to survive in the business world.
I suggest looking into wealth management. That's a pretty solid field. Stay away from i-banking and the stock market.

Ah, joining a sorority isn't always as peachy as it sounds.
There's a lot more expenses you put in, and a lot of your time is taken out and dedicated to events and fundraisers.
Id suggest waiting a year before committing.

The school spirit is insane.
Especially during football games against UCLA. Lolol, the rivalry. It's funny to hear some of the chants.
It's what you get with a big school :3

Haha, well figure out how to balance what you love with what will help you sustain a healthy lifestyle in the future.
Wall street, if that's what you're aiming for... That's gonna take some serious hard-work and dedication. Stay focused in school, and don't mess around too much freshie year.
Those grades are weighted almost as equally as they are against your soph/junior grades.

Haha, not ever going to Cali, sorry. >> Can't.
A lot of the nation's leading business partners and firms are here in NYC. I can't be across the country when all the big things are happening here.
I'm considering going abroad to Hong Kong for some work experience. It's quite booming over there, too.
Wharton is eh. I hate the location. Depressing as hell.

College is and isn't high school 2.o It's what you make of it.
Sure, there's drama and horrible hangovers, and hissy fights, etc. But at the end of the day, college is also a filter.
It separates those who will thrive, those who will be average, and those who won't become anything at all.

Graduate school is unlike undergrad, where many people might not be financially set to pay off the tuition.
Graduate school, by the majority of people I've come across, is not finished in one sitting of 2-3 years. The average is definitely 4-6. Sometimes, even 7 and up.
Even if work experience is not required for admission, many people choose to go into the working world to pay back debt from undergrad.
It'd be immensely painful if someone carried 50k-100k of debt from undergrad, and then went straight into grad school.
They'd be paying off loans until the day they died.
There's also no rush to finish grad school, as opposed to graduating late from undergrad.

Work experience also works as a filter, alongside GPA. Grad schools aren't about "Oooh I played tennis and painted a lot in undergrad". Grad school is meant to prepare you for the next 40 years of your life, which will consist of working and climbing the social hierarchy. They want to see who actually can step up to the plate and be beneficial to a future employer.
> 3 < Get involved in school! Don't loaf around. Intern wherever you can, volunteer, work minimum wage jobs.

Congratulations on choosing USC! That's a incredible school!
I considered the Cali schools during my senior year of hs.
I love USC/UCLA/Berkley. They're in beautiful locations and they're amazing schools.
I figured that I just couldn't leave the East coast due to family, aha.
USC is huge. You're gonna meet lots of cool people, and get a nice tan while you're at it.

You have nothing to be ashamed of. USC is pretty darn selective.
Business school, eh? You might find that your plans will change. Stay open minded.

A health GPA is not a 4.0, dear.
That means you'll have no life and will be studying all the darn time.
4.0 is incredibly hard to attain, especially during your first year.
The adjustment period is rough. You need to give yourself wiggle room.
I'd say anywhere between a 3.4-3.8 is really, really great.

I am currently still at Columbia in NYC.
I wanted to go to NYU Stern, but I figured, just stick to the big Blue~
I'm considering doing a year away at another school, just to try it out.
There's a lot of programs to consider when in grad school.
Luckily, you just need to make it through undergrad and then decide.

You'll have a lot of newfound freedom.
Use it judiciously.
Make smart choices and don't fall off the deep end.
College is tempting.
Lots of things will come in the way between you and your future success.
I have no doubt you will be just fine.
