Hahahahaha omg for a moment there I was so confused! "This sounds all too familiar...."

NHANES is National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys. They are the people who collect the information of society to create those pie charts and data that become general knowledge.
When people say a certain percentage of whatever ethnicity has higher/lower risk of AIDS/cancer stuff like that, it's from NHANES.
We have a selected group of people to do surveys on, and they are compensated with a monetary gift as a thank you for their time.
Plus they get a free complete health check up! I've seen people get as much as $350-500, depending on how many family members participate.
It's really win/win for both sides, but it's difficult because people these days tend to not even bother opening their doors at all emo
they (understandably) assume that we are just solicitors out to scam them of their private information. However, we already have their names and addresses on hand.
They really don't have to provide any other information of themselves unless they wish to, which would be greatly appreciated. (such as social security number, to calculate how many people actually use their SS# benefits, etc)

The pay was so good! My travel expenses were also compensated when I was paid. So so good. My information is in Westat's database now so I'm on call.
The circle of doctors I was telling you about, are people who occasionally need a quick assistant and interpreter when things get crazy. What word were you trying to say??

Oh about your internet, if you have a smartphone I recommend you to download a wireless tether app. That's what I've been using weeks ago. Just make your own password so other people won't use your phone data plan.

crying she doesn't bake/cook for me, it's for herself and her bf (also my roommate)
internets went down again fffffff this generation is terrible to be so addicted to internet like this !!

I've been working part time jobs since nobody would hire full time work right now, or if they do the pay is very low.
CDC needed interpreters for their data collecting team for NHANES so i did that for a few months and got myself into a circle of doctors who needed me too
I was also at BedBath&Beyond kissing butt to everybody& then waitressing weekend nights for best tips. I quit bartending though, it got stressful with the men.

ah I was busy working late hours and had no internet for a bit ~
my roommate keeps baking delicious things at night so when i come home, it is rather difficult to sleep while salivating
