I have one that's made by logitech, there are nicer ones out there, but mine does it's job. You can find these generally at any electronics store, and if not they aren't too hard to find online. I can't say I'd recommend anything in particular since I haven't used lots of different microphones, so you may want to ask someone more advanced that question.....then, with regards to fan dubbing anime, yes I think that's probably on the right track, I don't remember if I've ever directly recorded into movie maker, but I think you can, and then I believe there is an audio levels thing you can play around with or replace with your own audio, which is what you'd want to do....yeah, I'm not the best singer in the world, but I like doing it for fun, so hopefully I can put something up soon. I'm also really excited because I'm learning God Knows (singing and bass guitar) and will probably play that for my school's international talent show. Sorry not to get back to you for so long, I've been super busy but I hope I'm of some help.

Ah, thank you, and yes I do like making fandubs, although I don't have anything on youtube right now. Mostly I just do singing fandubs at the moment since I'm too busy during the school year to make actual scene fandubs, but I'm hoping to do some work with that over the summer a bit.

Mostly what I recommend if you really are interested is getting a decent microphone. It doesn't have to be expensive, but the built in ones that computers sometimes come with are almost always really not that great, so buying an external one is the better way to go.
