Well, I am sure he went and bought some...like at a pet store or something...like a bait store maybe.
I live in Arizona...soo, I am sure there aren't any around where I live. :>

Yeah, I saved two from a fisherman who used them as bait for bass fishing... ;n;
Eventually they grow out of their gills and live on land. :3
They be so cute. >u<
