THIS IS WHAT THEY THINK I AM...
Once in a while, a wolf cub goes astray and gets lost. Sometimes, when this happens, the cubs are adopted by other animals and many are the stories about these mostly peculiar situations. However, from all the possible tragedies, the worst, is what happens when the wolf is adopted by sheep.I am a wolf. I was rised by sheep. I never met my real parents and in fact I thought I was a sheep for a very long time.
Other sheep made fun of me when I was a little cub because I was different, but, well, I kind of accepted that because I thought I really was inferior.
Time passed by and I found myself looking at all the other sheep mating. I had a crush in this beautiful sheep named Baah (a lot of sheep are named like that, you would be surprised), but she was dating one of the popular guys.
I felt so bad about it, but all I could do was shrug it off.
One day, at night, something happened. A wolf attacked us.
I like to be alive, but back then I didn't care so much about dying or not, so, while all the others scaped, I stood behind waiting for the enemy.
He attacked me. I thought I'd be dead in no time and that my end would be in the belly of a monster of the night. Then, he said:
"What do you think you're doing?"
"I'm your prey..."
"No, you're not, stupid... you're just a fool hunting in my ground."
"Hunting?"
"Go away, fool. I'm trying to get some meal here." And then he let me and walked away ready to return to his hunting.
"Wait!" I called him.
"Now what?"
"Why don't you eat me?"
"Are you not only stupid but crazy? Why would I ate your meat when sheep's is tender and better tasting?"
"I'm a sheep!"
"No, you're not... Have you ever seen your reflection? You're not an ugly sheep, but a nice looking wolf. Now shut up and let me go for my snack or else I'll be very upset."
I had no more words. In fact, now that I was looking at him, it was obvious that he looked more like me than the sheeps. I stayed there, paralized, numb, while someone was dying.
The next day, some talked about how I had faced the wolf trying to protect everybody else and how he decided to let me there, out of respect for my courage. That made me popular among many, but also I was even more bullied.
I didn't care.
Now I had something else in mind. I was a wolf. I had to change the vision of myself inside my mind.
The first I did, was to date Bhaa. I seduced her not like a sheep, but like something else, and easily I gained her love.
Her boyfriend, with a group of friends, tried to give me a lesson, but I easily defeated them with just a few bruises.
I could have stayed with the sheep, living as the most popular and strong sheep ever.
But the destiny has weird ways.
Humilliated, the ex of Bhaa and his friends decided to take revenge in a different way. You would be surprised of how nasty sheep might be sometimes.
They took Bhaa to a lonely place, and there... they... ...
She wasn't the same after that...
At first I just cried, then screamed, and finally, looking into her eyes, at her shattered spirit, I HOWLED.
Y killed her first, fast. Then the buch who had did that to her, in cruel, slow forms. And finally, everybody else.
In the end, because I loved her, I just ate Bhaa, to make her a part of me forever. And from that night on, I've been the worst wolf ever, because having been raised by sheep, I know how to approach them, but being a wolf, I know how to devour them.
