If Only I Was A Slinky

I'm more of a physical science than a biological nerd myself, I took Biology in high school and just didn't care much about photosynthesis or muscles. My sister who's planning on going to med school eats that stuff up though. I prefer my science with numbers and formulas! I'm a little confused, so since you took physics in grade school or at least before going to a university you don't have to take it again? Lucky!

Akako, you show those Australians what it means to celebrate Halloween! Do they at least have Jack-o-Lanterns? Halloween is nothing without a pumpkin!

Geez, how many months do you get off? Is this your summer vacation period? Yup, just five weeks left of school for me (including exam week). I keep telling myself, "You can do it, you can do it!".

mmm, books are always a nice gift i think - well, maybe because i visited a bookstore recently and remembered how it is to gift books to others (i wonder where i'll find the money needed for those XD )

internet cap downloading? is a uni connection or something like that?

i used to knit in order to reduce the amounts of cigs i used to smoke, it didn't help much, but at least i found a funny hobby XD i still wear some of my own scarves biggrin

hm, i agree with you :3 i used to make scarves and bags and cell phone bags, but... i think i grew tired of it >.< so, i'll probably buy small things for everyone :3 i love wrapping them in beautiful paper, though! mmmm, i'm thinking of buying books for everyone...

If Only I Was A Slinky

For me, Calc 3 is a requirement for the major so I have to take it. I also have to take chemistry which I don't mind but would rather not take it. I don't know how true this is but my high school physics teacher told me that all science majors, including engineers, revolves around math, chemistry and physics. Even math majors have to take chemistry and physics. I feel like it's a ploy to make me take more classes and steal my money. It's not that chemistry is boring it's just tedious and long. If you can't take Physics as an elective is it a requirement then?

I took World Geography as an elective since I took Human Geography in high school, it's the same class but with a different title so an easy "A"! If it's an English paper I can write quickly because it usually doesn't require research but this WG (maybe I should abbreviate world geography like that?) is killing me because just to start it I had to find where 100+ items came from and then write why then came for this region and make sure to include any historical, weather, or other factors that can explain the patterns I see. Mostly it's make up why you think your shoe is from China. It doesn't even require any imagination and my paper is stiff and formally written. That's not me!

I live at the end of a dead-end road that's kind of dark and scary so kids usually get to the bridge and turn around. I was excited to pass out candy but only less than 15 came but they got handfuls of candy! Are you done with classes for the year? Mine don't end until the first week in December.

Miss Physics is a nerd, what can she say? I like physics but I really loooove mathematics I dorked out when I saw that I could sign up for Calculus III for next semester. I cried a little I swear. As an engineering major I know that you and I probably take a lot of the same classes but if you don't care for physics why choose engineering?

I doing well, still sad over the lack of trick or treaters on Halloween and finishing up the last of my research papers. Blah, I hate World Geography. Honestly, I don't care if my toothbrush comes from Mexico or Taiwan and I certainly don't want to write a paper on the distribution of the origins of consumer goods around the world. Just typing it bores me...

Anyway, how are you?

It is AWESOME. You have to sweeten it because it's bitter naturally, but Christmas is not the same here without it.

I actually love carrots! But not more than potatoes. Nothing can trump a good potato. (Here's someone who's even excited about the new potato item) I'm with you there, sweet potato tastes like poison to me.

Have you ever tried stewing cabbage with chicken too? YUM.

I looked it up to, and I never knew sorrel as a bush/ herb as I'm seeing here! I meant sorrel as in a red, bulb-like fruit. I think it belongs to the hibiscus family. It's brewed and sweetened into a Christmas drink.

Today I made the chicken wraps, jerk, turkey and fish/chicken sandwiches. (Lots of chicken!) And I suggested she start selling potato sandwiches, lol.
