I am a product of the shadow, cast by the light of science. A demon of ultimate power, yet with the mind and reasoning of a god. The origin of Project Synthesis, a mutant, with the appearance of any other human, yet concealing truths beyond any human comprehension.There may have been others like me, though no longer is that the case, I saw to that myself.
Projects Synthesis was an American sponsored genetics research project, trying to create something... else. I was the first in the long line of hundreds of successes, growing slowly, as the newer projects grew in near most instantly.
All of us were special in the eyes of the world. And as, one by one, we were primed for the lives ahead of us, I was the outcast. Exposed to the tragedy of life before any others.
I grew slowly, learning and examining the world that besieged my eyes. I hated it all, nothing but grievance. But my view was cast off by others, as they grew strong, and their pride clouded their own eyes, believing they were better than all else... and that pride is what destroyed them.
The day all fell silent, after the screaming hush of death by the hundreds.
Pride? What one had shown off, thinking themselves the better of me...
He struck, I watched, and he fell, dead to the ground, never any remorse be stricken across my face. Silent then there after, as he was not only fallen, for all else became black, within a hole of Earth, which I created myself.
I set off from the destruction behind me, even if it be little more than a crater. As I search for a reason to live. To live, love, and be loved. Yet, all I see ahead of myself, is the tyranny of this world.
That is only the beginning of my tale, and may it last long and ring true through the ears of today's life. And let it cast a lesson to those who live, think not of yourself better, but equal, in your own way.
