Music: Tool, SoaD, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Blind Melon, and for the most part, things alternative and metal. Prog Metal especially.

Books: Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, and then there's always the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti monster. Truthfully, the list is much too long.

Shows/Animes: NCIS, Scrubs, Law and Order (of all flavours)...this list also goes on too long. Oh yes, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and the other classics still stand up today. Akira was a great movie. ^^

People: People that can find how to express their emotions without coming off like pricks.

Name: Keegan

Gaia Name: So, originally I was going to be Kyzin, until I found out some douche took the name I MADE UP. So, after almost a year with a stupid adjective in front of my name, I finally got around to changing it. "Archeo Chiroptera" (pronounced ar-kay-o ki-ropt-terra) is a latin name, meaning "ancient bat." After that, I changed to my current name, which is there because of how at one time, we were supposed to be "anonymous" on the internet, but this has decayed and become an archaic concept. That, and I am a supporter of Project Chanology.

Age: My age shouldn't matter. Let's just say I'm old.

Gender: Male

Race: I've got a decent amount of American Indian blood in me, which makes me darker then the average bear...er...person. In the summer, I end up looking mexican. Outside of that, I'm European mutt, with bits of Irish, French, German, Black Dutch, and others.

Hobbies: I'm a gamer, so that should cover itself. Presently, sailing and swimming are taking up the largest amount of my non-work time, though later, when winter rolls around, I'll be playing my Viola. I'm in a band on vocals, so maybe one day If you're lucky you'll hear our stuff.

Favorite Band: Tool. Now then, over the course of the years I've come to realize that very few people indeed have heard Tool, let alone listen to them regularly. So let me say this, to those of you who haven't; Tool understand music, they know what it is supposed to be, and most importantly, they understand what prog metal is supposed to be. It is supposed to channel ones anger, from anything and everything, focusing on something like a magnifying glass in the sun, which allows for a great variety of emotions to be shown, feelings to be felt, and music to be made. What disappoints me about newer metal bands, is they don't understand this at all. They think, "Well, we're metal, which means we get to have angst and scream a lot."

Now then, I feel the need to comment upon my location. As it should be fairly evident by now, I know how to speak and to prove my point well. I want this to serve as a disclaimer to all that think Oklahomans talk like this; "Howdy yall! We're just deeeelighted to see you in these here parts." Don't even joke about that with me. I'll give you a tracheotomy with a straw. You want to make fun of Oklahomans, make fun of the fact that we're in the bible belt and have more churches then stores that sell food. That part is very true.

Thoughts on humanity as a whole: Humanity is an inherently selfish beast that on any given day can only strive to be less then pure evil. The need to be special outweighs common sense, with that need being filled in by the fickle word called love.

Political views: Ah, now it gets interesting. Many would assume a thoughtful individual such as me would be a Democrat. Oh, before you get any ideas, I'm not Republican either. I've lived in the bible belt far too long to even take that seriously. But I can't be a Democrat; because that would be like saying I'm a Christian. What the hell does that even mean? The two titles are as assorted as skittles, and saying I'm one of them carries no more weight then saying I'm human. I carry more democratic ideals (I think) and am definetly not conservative when it comes to my views on abortion or gay rights. But, even with all these supposedly Democratic ideas, I won't say I am because of the other things it implies about me. Know my ideas are my own.
